Just had a very unplesant experience tonight. Went to have dinner with family of 5 @830pm and guess what! After 1hr30mins @ 10pm the staff came over and told me my Lamprias Fish is delayed because rice finish & needed to be cooked again and the fish is not available. Imagine they needed 1hr30mins to know rice finished and fish unavailable. I asked for the manager or owner to come and give me a good explanation but none dare to show up. Whats more disappointing is that during this period, I keep seeing the cook and another staff (not the waitress) sitting outside the smoking instead of knowing if ingredients ran out or customers still waiting for food to arrive. Luckily my 4 other family got their meals, closed to 55mins later i.e.about 9.25pm. What sort of restaurant is this, that do not know whether the raw materials is insufficient, customers not getting their food for nearly an hour, with me totally getting none which I requested immediate cancellation and staff unaware that the customers table is still bare for an hour with no follow up with the kitchen to check the delay. What worst is that the PIC do not even bother to come foward to appologize. Truely disgusted and this place is not worth visiting again and I wouldn't recommend it to my...
Read moreA Disappointing Dining Experience at this place for our family of 6. Our recent visit was, unfortunately, a significant letdown. I had heard positive reviews about their food and was looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. Sadly, this was not the case.
My main issue was the quality of the food. We ordered mutton varuval, chicken varuval and chicken curry. What we got was mutton grevy, chicken grevy and chicken( not sure what was that) Furthermore the service was incredibly slow. We had to wait for about an hour. The taste was not to the expectation. Didn't want to make any issue about difference in the order because we were frankly starving. As I went to pay my bill I asked is your varuval dry, she replied yes, I asked her why was your varuval not dry but grevy, she said she will tell the cook about it. What is the point now. She took over order and served it to us didn't notice the difference. Overall: Our dining experience was extremely disappointing. The poor quality of the food, combined with the subpar service and made for a thoroughly unenjoyable evening. I would not recommend this restaurant to others, and I strongly suggest potential diners explore other options in the area. Rating: [1...
Read moreAs my Regular review, the location is bit hard to find, need to take a escalator to first floor. Average outlet design, but they managed to make great ambience. Cute servuce staff with smily greetings, just a straightforward menu with accurate description of each dishes. Prices are reasonable, 1 puttu, 1 appam with brown sugar, Sri Lankan omlette and a chicken briyani, cost around rm45. Nice flavour and great taste, especially the chicken curry with the puttu is awesome match. Overall with the ambience and the taste of food i felt i had food in casual restaurant in sri lankan island(obviously except those cute service staffs😜), highly recommended for those who wanna try authentic sri...
