I was checked in on 26th Dec 2024 until 29th Dec 2024. They gave spare keys so that we both can enter different block. But it was few times the lock wasnt worked!!
Even on the first day, the staff lock them inside our room (lock from inside) to check the aircond. With our stuff are still inside the room! i was not sure about their intention.
There was even once i have to go to the receiptionis area when during that time i tried to get my girl's athma medication but the card didnt work!!
Small room&EXPENSIVE.They promised me that to reach my room & my kids' room (under 12 years old),it will take only a minute BUT it WAS not.
We even got trapped in the lift without electric power & it was pit dark!! (night at 7pm) With my four kids trapped inside the lift!!
we tried to rang the bell few times But no response. I cannot even used my phone as there was no signal.
Then i told them about my experienced & they insisted that i should call them up! even after i told them there was no service inside the lift. They even said that was their first such incident.
To my surprised, i told this incident to my nephew & he told me that lift failure is common in that Sutera Avenue Building including Harper Boutique Hotel as his girl friend experienced same incident.
I asked for my refund as we cannot stand to stayed i that hotel due to safety!! BUT THEY DIDNT REFUND US!! VERY DISAPPOINTING! We checked out on 28 Dec 2024 istead of 29th Dec 2024 & we moved to a better hotel!! Very disappointing. DONT STAY AT HARPER...

Yesterday night, when I returned to my room, my key card couldn’t unlock the door. I thought maybe keeping it near my phone caused interference, so I went to reception to check. They verified the key worked (since it unlocked the hallway sensor), then claimed the digital lock’s battery died.
Since it was late, the staff used a manual key to let me in and promised a technician would fix it the next day.
But the problem wasn’t solved! 11:24 AM: They texted me about sending a technician. I agreed. 12:28 PM: They asked again—confusing, but I said OK. 3:36 PM: I returned to find my room still inaccessible! Reception admitted they tried the same manual key from yesterday—it failed, yet they did nothing for 3+ hours! 4:21 PM: Offered me new room for waiting, I accepted. Finally say technician will arrive by 5PM.
Their "solution"? Offer me a new room—but all my belongings were still locked inside the original one! Why didn’t they call a professional locksmith immediately instead of wasting time?
Zero urgency, zero competence. I had to wait helplessly while they shrugged. If I hadn’t returned, would they have just left me locked out all night again?

Read moreBooked for only one night. Arrived at 1pm but can’t do early check-in as the room was not ready. Only managed to check-in at night as I was out running errands. Upon entering the room, it’s fully carpeted. Toilet is clean, shower strength is strong which is good. Place below has Chagee, convenient stores, restaurants which is a plus to me. Just opposite is the shopping mall Imago. Down side: 1) when I flipped the bed sheet, there were stains on them. Had to flip the clean side to cover me.2) in sufficient lights/ try to use white lights next time. I had to use my phone light to see any dirt on the bed.3) sides of the bed is dirty, there were dusts, hairs around. 4) could not sleep well due to the road noise. Window was not very sound proof.
