Hands down the worst place I stayed in. Dirty, disgusting and with terrible personnel. Surviving the night was a challenge itself.
When I arrived I got charged for the tourist tax second time even tho it was already included in the booking that was paid online. It was my first day ever in Malaysia, it was late and I didn't have energy to argue so I just paid and got the room. Later I found the confirmation of the exact tax being included in the online booking payment, so decided to just get it back next morning during checking out, assuming it would be just a formality. Then, the lady having all the necessary information in front of her treated me like an idiot, made me wait 15 minutes while talking on a phone and decided to give me only a part of the money in the end, for no clear reason. I stormed out being furious as I had to rush to take my bus, not being able to argue anymore.
The "towel" I got looked like a dirty cloth straight from car repair shop's floor with black stains all over, luckily I had my own with me. As a result, I was forced to attend dinner with wet hair, which was both uncomfortable and unprofessional. I have traveled extensively and stayed in over 60 hotels across the world, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such an illogical and unreasonable policy.
Denying a guest access to such a basic facility, especially after full payment has been made, reflects very poorly on your hotel’s service standards. I expect better from any establishment that claims to offer...
