HOTEL LEGEND — Hotel in Johor

I have visited this hotel quite a number of times and by far I’m liking this place. But this is the first time I’ve faced an issue recently which happened 3-4 months ago when I was checking in around 5pm, I’ve got my room card and proceeded to my room to check in, I saw my room door opened and the cleaner’s cleaning kit such as the entire trolley was outside my room. I was surprised that it’s already 5pm which was a late check in timing and yet my room hasn’t been cleaned yet? As I approached my room, it’s complete darkness and I thought they forgot to close back the door after cleaning. But to my surprise, there’s this male cleaner laying on the single couch watching videos on his phone while the aircon in the room is turned on?! How disgusting is it that he gets to lay on the sofa that people are going to check in to? Who knows he might’ve laid on our bed before? FYI the room hasn’t already been tidied up and I guess he have nothing else to do and wanted to take a break on one of the rooms? And when I stood outside the room asking if it is still cleaning or has it already been done, the worker slowly got up and walked out of the room, with no guilt and don’t even feel sorry for embarrassed to be caught laying on a the couch that has been cleaned for the next customer. In fact, I do not know if he did cleaned that couch or not since his behaviour feels like I don’t give a f because when he got caught, that’s what his behaviour and attitude was. He doesn’t feel sorry for doing such things and was like, oh, you are here finally I’ve been waiting for you. And then left off just like that. I have stayed here for many times and wow this is my first time seeing such things. I believe there are lots more ridiculous acts which haven’t been caught by us in person and that’s really disgusting in such industry. I then called and went down to the lobby to exchange rooms and asked the male employee if this always happens and why does this happen, he replied don’t know. And that’s all he could say and feels like he can’t be bothered and just want to spend time alone in his counter. Do something about this, hotel...

The hotel is situated in a convenient location. That the only great thing going for this place. There was a MacDonald's right across the hotel. There was also a mini mart & a couple of pharmacies near by which helped as I needed some medication. Aeon was nearby in a walkable distance (10mins maybe?). The room was clean but there were other faults. Here's my critique though: The Aircon wasn't as strong as we'd expected. Even at 16°C we couldn't feel much. It didn't help that we were only given one key card; so everything would shut off when we go out. We'd come back & have to wait for the Aircon to cool the room down. We couldn't adjust anything more than that to make it colder (while waiting to check in, there was a family in front of us saying that their Aircon & fridge weren't working properly). Our fridge was also affected (we couldn't keep anything cool). The toilet was ok but the bidet pressure was very low. It was ridiculous. We learned very quickly that you could do a #2 & flush toilet paper down at the same time. The shower was warm-ish & that was about it; no matter how you turned the tap, there was a standard temperature. The bath gel & shampoo bottles were very small. Gone in a day & a half. There was no soap bar either. The room is adequate if you're going to be out for most of your stay. However, sleeping was uncomfortable as the room would take a long while to get...

I’ve been a loyal guest at Legend Hotel, Permas for the past two years, and I can confidently say this is one of the best stays you’ll find in Johor.

From the moment I check in, I’m always welcomed warmly by the friendly and respectful staff, many of whom display admirable Muslim character and professionalism. Their personal appearance is always neat, and they’re genuinely helpful and responsible. On one occasion, I accidentally left some belongings behind—and they kept them safely until I returned. That level of integrity speaks volumes.

The rooms are consistently clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering great value for the price. I’ve never had an issue with cleanliness or comfort, and the environment feels just right for both business and leisure stays.

The location is also a major plus. The hotel is surrounded by convenience—within walking distance, you’ll find McDonald’s, 24-hour grocery stores, cozy warungs, car workshops, dobi (laundry), mobile phone repair shops, and various banks. Everything you need is right around the corner, and the area feels very safe, even at night.

Overall, Legend Hotel has become my home away from home. With excellent service, clean rooms, and a super convenient location, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting...
