Mori Restaurant — Restaurant in Johor

Saw their post on FB, decided to order and inbox them. FB no reply. After 24 hours they reply with catalogues of pictures. After placing my order on 2nd day they went missing again. On third day when they reply my order again they said they are closed and went missing again. So I decided to WhatsApp them regarding my order. They reply immediately but asking what would I like to order. After explanation they confirmed my order that I can pickup my order on 4th day at 8pm. On 4th day when i wanted to pickup my order the staff said they already close at 8pm. Summary, poor communication skill between Boss and staff. Boss doesn't know what's latest operation hours. Their business is too good and they are too busy, just support...

We didn't enjoy our dinner at all. There was a fly kept flying around in the restaurant. The ramen was not cooked well, noodles were clamped. The sanma shioyaki set looked pathetic but for RM19. The salmon set was RM42, quite ok but salmon was not a good cut of sashimi. Chawanmushi looked very pale white. There was an elderly customer who on his phone pretty loud, the tables were also arranged very near to one another so you could easily hear the conversation if one speaks loud enough.

Staff were friendly and came top up our green tea once.

With the food quality, I won't want to visit this...

The place is relatively clean. However, they gave us a position with a half group on the cushion and the other half on chairs along the same row, making the conversation awkward. The sashimi is nice and fresh. Unagi roll is okay. Supreme Ika Shioyaki tasted rubbery so I suggest skipping this dish. Salmon Atama Shioyaki is too dry.
