Changtara Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Johor

The restaurant is beautifully done up. Very cozy.

The staff are very polite and observant.

Food orders can be done via the QR code which allows customers better control on ordering as we can input special requests.

The physical menu is still in the works. They have great selections of foods, drinks and desserts.

The must-try will be the beef soup, lemongrass fried fish (hats off, very delicious), and the crying tiger beef (very juicy even after it's cold).

The food orders were prepared timely and served hot.

This restaurant has just started its operations the last few days, therefore there are bound to be jitters, workflow issues, and the need to constantly review the processes from the ordering of raw materials to kitchen to beverages to dining hall to cashiering. But as a newly set up operation, they have done well.

The lasting impression will be the sincere smiles and warmth from the staff working there, when we depart the restaurant after a wholesome delicious meal.

We will be back again soon. I hope to provide some new great reviews about Changtara...

Visited Changtara on their 3rd day of opening.

Located along the shop houses next to Alliance Bank, opposite Aeon Permas Jaya. Very very easy to locate and can be sighted by the roadside.

Ample of parking around. Parking is free.

What I can say is that the energy of the restaurant, its people, and its decorations are superb!

The restaurant has a very clean modern luxurious fresh feel. They have indoor and a couple of outdoor space.

The foods here are incredibly superlicious yummy. A must try are the crispy omelette, tomyam, crying tiger beef and crispy golden lemongrass seabass.

Their table condiments, like the black crispy chillies is a must try. Be warned, its spiciness will hit you hard.

The staff are very friendly and proactive.

Not forgetting that they have a nice, well renovated washroom too.

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday at this Thai restaurant last night, and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the service was excellent, they made sure all our orders were complete and checked in on us throughout the meal. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the tom yum, which was full of rich flavour.

We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly humble and welcoming. He came over to chat with us, which made the evening feel even more personal and special. Thank you for accommodating us so warmly. We’ll definitely...
