Eighty-Eight Inn • 88 Inn — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

We have stayed there for couple of nights during our trip in SE Asia. It was quite easy to find, and accessible from the LCCT. We took bus then switched to the Monorail. From Imbi station it was like 8 minutes by foot. ||The room itself was not very big and comfortable. One big bed, one small - directly below the A/C - not very pleasant during the night. One old TV - almost not possible to watch. And tiny tiny bathroom. But for that price it was OK for us, and most of the time we spent outside. Free hot and cold water, which was nice for instant soups. ||Hostel was close to famous Bukit Bintang - it took us like 10 min. by foot. Big shopping center Berjaya Times Square just around the corner. Couples of restaurant and small shop, also 7/11 just on the street. The stuff was very nice and helpful, they provided us with maps and hints. Close to the most of the see sights and landmarks, attractions in KL.||All in all - bit outdated, but for those who are on...

Pros : Fanstastic location just 5 minutes walk from the front of Berjaya Times Square. Very good courteous staff & manager with real 24 hours reception counter. Complimentary Breakfast for an Agoda booking is quite rare. Though it's just off-the-shelf buns , 3-in-1 Instant coffee , 1 soft drink , it's the daily delivery to my room that is perfect. Daily morning wake-up call by knocking on my door(i requested for it) Self entertainment via LG SmartTV... Strong Wifi everywhere , even stood outside the hotel to book my Grabcar.. Even the cleaning staff is more polite then some sulking & unhappy housemaids at the bigger hotels.. Basically they replied positively to everything i queried... Cons : Water flow is low for Shower at the higher floors......

I needed a place to stay from 1:30 in the morning to about 8 in the morning one night in early November, 2016. The front desk and the manager were very accommodating despite my late arrival and early departure. They gave me a quiet upper floor room and made me coffee and noodles in the morning. The bed was very comfortable especially the twin but I also had a double. The shower had hot water and everything was fine. The location right in the heart of Bukit Bintang made it easy for me to explore the area on foot in the morning and then catch the monorail and KL Express back to KLIA for my flight. The price was very reasonable and I would stay there again because of the price, the location and the kindness of the staff and owner....
