It is an honest review and I hope the owner of the restaurant may take some time to look into this.

It is a crowded Sunday late morning period. We are a group of people, 4 and 2, total 6. 4 reached the restaurant at 11, start ordering dimsum, using two order papers. I was with the 2 who join the table around 12. We add on another order paper.

Around 1145am, while waiting for 45mins, the first batch of order paper no. 1 starts delivering. 1215pm, restaurant start delivering orde paper no 3 items. We are OK with some items which are sold out after some time of ordering from the waiter. It is completely fine.

However, the first group of 4, they are having some group activities at the same restaurant. As such, they left the table around 12.30pm by informing the group of 2, the other order besides whatever on the table with order paper no 1 items only.

Around 1pm, we are about to leave the restaurant, the order paper was dropped by a waiter without saying anytime, OK, that looks normal and those items were never delivered. We asked for bill. The waiter came and picked up all 3 order papers.

At the time, I inform the young man waiter, the no 2 order paper was just dropped on my table, items were not delivered. After that, he brought me to the counter, verifying the statement I just provided with some staff and waiters around the counter. One middle age slim lady with uniform in grey, responded to young man waiter inquiry, she indicated that she was the one delivered items of order paper no 2 to my table, she also mentioned that the items were comsumed by the group of 4. Erm well, I said, no worry, I will paid any items were consumed by group of 4. She assured that order paper no 2 items were delivered by her hand. Well, I said, it is OK, I will pay the bill on full amount. Payment done.

Soon, the group of 4 were returned to dimsum session, out of curious, I ask about the items from order paper no2. Group of 4 confirmed that items were not delivered. As such, I got to call the young man waiter for discussing the issue.

Just for a while, he managed to get the refund with a payment receipt to me. I made an inquiry about the refund amount whether including 16% charges. One big size middle age waiter pop up, not really friendly, talking loud that the amount of refund included tax, no issue. I found so, after using a calculator.

At this point, I found that one of the item that didn't delivered was not included in the refund list. I made inquiry again. The young man waiter rush to the counter and update the refund receipt again. However, the update still with the mistake. He requested me to visit the counter again. As I can feel that the staff at the counter may get some heat on him as the case is not able to settle.

Well, I revisited the counter again, I mention that the refund receipt is with error. However, the staff at the counter are not friendly, she speaks to me in a rude tone. Why didnt you mention just now? I replied, the mistake is from the counter. Just now your middle age slim grey uniform staff confirmed that the group of 4 had all items and I made the payment. The issue now is not on me, I just clarified the bill with you. The staff at counter is a middle age lady not tall and not slim. The face is black and rude to me. After I replied, she didn't say anything but showing me a black face. Well, a beautiful Sunday, not worth time for an inefficient arguement. I told the young man waiter, once counter settle, send the bill to me at the table.

At time moment, surprice, all the items in order paper no 2, just delivered to my table. I told the old lady waiter who just come into the picture, our table has cleared, we are about to leave no longer require these items.

By seeing this situation, I understand several observations during my meal time. There are multiple tables dimsum were delivered after customer left and newly delivered items were cleared with left over after a while.

My experience this session is bad. Owner worth to look into...

As I earlier mentioned that I am one of those food hunters craving for nice and delicious food, well this adventure brought me to one of those restaurants that are famous for organizing wedding dinners in KL city. The reception was not held over the weekend, well this particular salutation was held on a working day on a Monday night blues, invitation card specifically stated dinner at 7.00 pm sharp, it turns out that people in KL don't understands what is 'sharp', we were there well before 7.00 pm but eventually have to wait like another one and a half hours before thing gets started. The interesting part of this reception was the Manager himself came charging out into the restaurant doing some choreographed type of dance routine before waiters and waitresses came marching in with plates of serving. The dance is neither disco, rumba, or line dance moves something i guessed only the dancer himself knows. Forget about the gimmick stuff lets move on to the servings, periodically I can say that its not the best of wedding dinner courses and i will keep the credit ratings to myself. The food was a bit strange not the usual stuffs that you get at this sort of function and that goes with the taste as well. I was a little agitated with the way they brought about the dishes and was like chasing after you to clear the table. Before we could finish with one course, the waiter was already asking 'Finished' and wanted to remove the plate from our table. Luckily occupants of our table were more to drinking than enjoying the platter of food. I would not for any reason on an ordinary day will order food of this awful standard and second-rated collation. Today I have no choice but joined the fun and happy occasion to celebrate a friend's wedding and to foster him with our presence and well wishes. I can only wish that someone will have the guts to tell the Management to improve on the consecution of offerings with more delicious mouth watering choices. As for this adventure I would say its a below-average outing, not disappointed...

Old school 'high-end' Chinese restaurant which is extremely popular in the past but still popular with some older generation. Restaurant still enjoyed brisk business and when we went, there were at least 3 wedding dinners happening at the same time - two families seated outside in the main hall - and one smaller family inside one of their private rooms

As usual, we ordered 4 dishes - chicken, pork, vegetables and tofu

Chicken dish was good and we kinda like that the meat which they gave were all thigh (aka dark) instead of breast meat. The sauce was super delicious and makes you wanna douse your rice with it and eat non-stop. The pork ribs were decent and although fried really well, they were full of fat and the portion of lean meat to fat was almost 60/40 - so for us who prefers leaner meat, there were less edible portions. Not worth for us.

Ordered a spinach broth as our green upon recommendation. The broth was thick and eggy - and it came with crab meat and salted eggs. Decent but too overwhelming and cloying in my opinion - especially paired with the equally stronger in taste chicken and pork we ordered.

Lastly the claypot braised tofu with eggplant and mushrooms were a slight disappointment and also too heavy combined with all the other dishes. The stew's base was curry and although we were fine with curry - it would be preferable if it was fresh. This was definitely made out of curry powder. The tofu was not homemade and came out from the regular Japanese tofu tubes. Both the mushrooms and eggplant complements the tofu well but the curry base...

Went specially for Pekin duck promotion on Thursday. Upon reaching the location via GPS u enter into a commercial building which has few shop open for business on a weekday and u thought that Google screw u up and lead us to a dead mall. Met a uncle at the ground floor and he immediately directed us to the 3rd floor without us asking, when we even didn't tell him that we were looking for the restaurant. The restaurant was huge and there were 2 section one of them was for wedding and the waitress lead us to the one for casual dinning. She immediately introduced us the Peking duck promotion which we did not hesitate to order. Then she asked us whether we would want a vegetable to go along and she recommended a few dishes. We settle for kai lan stirred fried with garlic. The first dish that came was the vegetable and we were shocked that it was so big which 2 of us couldn't finish. The duck skin was crispy but just a normal roasted Duck. The noodle which used the remaining duck to fry was normal. Overall experience was that the waitress should have just ordered a smaller portion since there were only the two of us. Food was okay. Parking available in the building. Price was a bit on the high side. Would not recommend it for a try.
