Kingston Hotel 11 @ PWTC Kuala Lumpur — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

Due to an urgent business meeting in Jakarta, I had to attend a conference that was hastily decided on the very day the Conference began. I searched for a hotel near the World Trade Centre (Kuala Lumpur). Because of the late decision, all the hotels recommended by the Conference Organization Committee were fully booked, including standard and deluxe rooms. When I inquired with the conference organization committee, they recommended several nearby hotels offering good value for money, about a 10-minute walk away. My secretary suggested the Kingston Hotel would be a good choice and made the reservation for a two-night, three-day stay. I was quite satisfied with the location and price. It wasn't too far from PWTC and getting there was easy. The staff were very friendly and handled check-in, check-out, and guidance very professionally. There were two minor inconveniences during my stay at the Kingston Hotel. First was road noise. I was assigned a room facing the road and couldn't sleep well late into the night and early morning due to vehicle noise. Second, even though I left my key with the front desk and attended an event, my room wasn't cleaned. I'm not sure if there was another reason, but the bed wasn't made and the room wasn't cleaned. On the last day, my online meeting time awkwardly overlapped with checkout. When I inquired about a late checkout, they were very kind and accommodating. Beyond expectations! I didn’t expect much when I booked online, just to have short rest for a night, but just feel want to extend my stay for another day instead the next morning😆 If I won’t got another arrangement, I would stay for extra nights.. Arrived at around 8pm- ish, as my grab driver dropped me a bit further from the entrance, warmly greet by the security guard and willingly open the door for me, as my luggage is quite heavy, even offer to lift up my luggage, at the concierge , the staff Syira and Malmie was super accommodating, and the next morning during check- out time, Syira was awesome and considerate.. suggesting to me a few tips around the city here & there.. kudos to Syira and the team.. The room is spacious, with all the good basic amenities, free flow water purifier dispenser ( most important for me, need to hydrate!) Overall, I had a pleasant stay all over, the place is nearby to street food vendor , convenient store and also a public transport hub if I’m not mistaken Titiwangsa Station. My upmost hope, wish they will maintain this great service , price point, and keep up the good work with compassionate care towards their guests...

Worst Experience – Not Worth the Money

I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Kingston 11, Malaysia. The hotel charged me ten times higher fees for scratch on outside lift panel amounting to 4500 Ringgit compared to India, which was completely unreasonable and exploitative.

The overall hospitality was extremely poor – staff were unhelpful, there was no senior manager or proper communication team, and my concerns were simply ignored.

On top of that, the hotel lacks even the most basic facilities:

Single working lift for hundreds of guests of our team(huge inconvenience for guests).

No room service phone in the room.

No swimming pool or games for children, making it unsuitable for families.

No proper room cleaning during the stay.
