Terrible Experience - A Complete Waste of Money
From the moment I walked into this Afghan traditional restaurant, the customer service was extremely disappointing. The staff barely interacted, making me feel unwelcome right away. The noise level inside the restaurant was overwhelming, adding to the discomfort.
What made it worse was the behavior of the staff. They would sit nearby and stare, rather than focus on their duties. At one point, the staff even had a loud argument in front of me, showing a lack of professionalism. To make matters worse, I was the only customer there, which clearly indicates that this restaurant struggles to attract diners.
The food itself was another letdown. From the free soup to the mantu and biryani, nothing tasted authentic or flavorful. I also tried dough, Afghanistan’s traditional drink, and it was awful. None of the dishes, including the dough, had any salt, leaving the taste extremely bland. Additionally, many of the staff were not Afghan; most of them were Pakistani and couldn’t communicate in Dari or Pashto.
Overall, my experience was far from satisfying. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The food was overpriced, lacked quality, and was a complete waste of money. Save yourself the trouble and avoid...
Read moreWhile I appreciate the effort to offer Afghan cuisine, the food I had was unfortunately disappointing. I start from the free soup they offer, nothing like the real Afghan soup. The texture is watery should be a bit thicker, I am not sure if they have followed the real Afghan way/SOP to prepare the soup. The Qabuli Palaw lacked the authentic aroma and the carrots were cut too coarsely, deviating from the traditional presentation and the basmathi they used needs to be changed. The Chicken Kebab was also dry and lacked a flavorful sauce. Mantoo should have had more onions as how Afghans do it, I think they can do better Chakka/yogurt sauce than the current one also mantoos dal should be a bit softer. I hope they consider my comments as a point of improvement. Wishing them success. I am sure their chefs prepare amazing Pakistani food but in order to have Authentic Afghan dishes they must have some Afghan chefs who take responsibility for the traditional Afghan cuisines nothing but respect for the currents chefs.

Read moreThe Bolani and Bolani Tandoori were delicious! I especially enjoyed the green sour sauce. The sesame bread had a lovely aroma and a nice chewy texture. Everything was freshly made and still warm when it arrived, really appreciate that!
I ordered via food delivery and had to place separate orders through GrabFood and ShopeeFood just to get everything I wanted. It would be great if all your menu items could be synced and available on one delivery platform in the future for better convenience.
Just a small suggestion regarding the juice. I hope the portion for delivery orders remains the same as dine-in. I understand the concern about spillage during delivery, but perhaps sealing the lid securely would help.
Thank you for the tasty meal and I look forward to...
