I came her with fairly low expectations due to the very reasonable prices and the style of the accommodation. It's basically beach chalets but they have everything you need.||||The pool is a lot smaller than it looks though and very rarely gets used. There is no shade so you could get boiled if using it in the daytime. I didn't bother since the sea is so nice to swim in anyway.||||The check-in was easy but we had to wait for our rooms to be cleaned. Then we had to wait a bit longer but it was no big deal since the bar is right next to the chalets.||||The food menu in the Kalut bar is limited to burgers and wings but the burgers are excellent. Prices are not much less than some cheap bars in KL but they are less.||||It's night-time when Kalut really hots up. Some nights they have a fire show on the beach which is excellent. All the bar staff are great too and they will take your order and bring it to you on the beach. They bring out the large bean bags and put them on the beach at night.||||Top tip: If you want your room cleaned ask at reception. I put the outdoor sign to "please clean room" but it was never done. I don't think the cleaners look at these signs. When checking in you will get 2 towels and 1 roll of toilet paper. It's a good idea to buy more at the local 7/11.||||Mali-Mali and Kalut beach bar are probably the best places on Pantai Cenang. I would definitely go back. It's not high class so if you don't like beach style chalets, keep this in mind. If you just use your room for sleeping in, this place...
Read moreAVOID AVOID AVOID.||||As other people have mentioned, the staff (in particular the receptionist) are extremely rude. I had one of their staff members lie and manipulate my husband into giving them money as if i had told them to charge him. When he saw me after with no drink or anything what he assumed it was for i confronted the staff where i was taken to speak to the receptionist. The staff are extremely rude and disrespectful, ignored me as i'm speaking, start speaking over me amongst each other, start making up rules on the stop to support them trying to keep the money, at one point they even claimed i had broken a seat and therefore had to pay for it. They are bad people that try to scare tourist into letting them keep their money. They were claiming they would call the police on me! I have been in this area and have a good idea how the culture and the police and so welcomed them to do so. Obviously they didn't, but i fear for other tourist that wouldn't know as much/ become intimidated and end up getting ripped off. ||||The Kalut bar is nice which is a shame (but much more expensive than others), though there are plenty of nicer bars with better staff you can give your money to! ||||Avoid Kalut, Mali Mali, and their guys renting beach chairs on the beach. They'll claim...

Mattres and pillow its high tine to be change to a new one. ||3. No houskeeping to tidy up and change yr towel everyday. We stayed for 3 nite but nobody show up to do the cleaning. ||4. Staff is ok but they need some basic training. ||5. Definately the management only focus on the revenue but not to maintain the resort especially the room and landscape.
