Hotel Pangkor Mutiara — Hotel in Pangkor Island

First of all, the have a gate which usually use for 11pm-7am and it operates by access card as the safety purpose ok its good! The worst thing happened when i was scanning and was not opening the gate at night 11:15 and there was no one at reception desh whom i can ask for help. However, i managed the number and call receptionist and explain the matter she said she might forget to unlock and she reach after 15min to hotel and with bad face open the gate without saying sorry or apologise. where i was getting mosquitoes bites to waiting for her . Our room is spacious enough for 3 people and a balcony. The room is clean & neat. Everything is just convenient for me. Pro:1. You have self laundry, food shop (Thai & sate stall at night), 7E & and a few free duty shops. 2. Many parking spaces also so you can park everywhere if you rent cars or bikes.3. They have a water dispenser in the lobby ( have mugs, coffee & tea bag) & level 2. They also provide a bottle of mineral waterCons: 1.no lift as need to take stairs to your room. So it's quite inconvenient for the elders & people with physical disability.2. During my stay, they only provide soap & and shampoo, but I have my own, so I don't mind about it3. This is a budget hotel, so don't expect too much. Located just beside the main road. Mamak stall, 7E, Duty Free shop & self service laundry shop just a walking distance from the hotel. Stayed in family room (RM250++/night) with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed & 1 single bed. The room is spacious but mini refrigerator is not available & the shower head holder is broken. The water pressure is very low. The instantaneous water heater is available but without pump. There was also no room make up service. It was hard to get the pink van (taxi) from here. So it is recommended to get the phone number from van driver when you first arrive at the jetty. Overall still a good stay for...
