We booked this hotel to stay two nights just recently but even from walking in the reception area, could see it was not going to be a good stay. Ripped furniture as you checked in. Girl playing on her phone and watching a movie, not interested. Filthy staircase to our room and then entered our room! Scorching hot as sun was baking on the window, big crack in headboard. Peeling wallpaper all over the place. Shabby repair in ceiling from a previous leak. Looked like it was going to fall through again. Bathroom very shabby and dirty. In fact, the whole room was shabby and dirty. Took some photos of the place and went back down to reception. Asked for our deposit back of RM50 for the room key and RM20 for the Tourism Tax. Gave the Receptionist my Agoda booking number and other personal details but she first gave us a totally different booking. Waited a short while for her to sort things out then was given room keys. After unpacking, Receptionist came up and told us that she gave us the wrong room and asked us to pack up to move. At the same time, she gave our correct room keys to the other party. This made all of us demand for housekeeping to tidy up the rooms but the Housekeeper was very reluctant and literally told us and the Receptionist "you cannot talk to me. After we checked-in into our rooms, half an hour later, the front desk requested us and another guest which booked 2 rooms to swapped the rooms because of the front desk mistake!. ||The front desk doesn't allow us to swap the room keys but need to perform a complete registration again and re-issue the room keys for us. This is totally unbelievable when the front desk can update in the system directly! Once the rooms are swapped, we requested housekeeping since the rooms were used by others already. When we were back from dinner, we found the rooms still in its original states and requested to house keep it. And we had to stand outside the rooms for 30mins while waiting...
