I would not recommend booking a stay at the apartments here on the basis that the advertising for the property is dishonest. On hotels.com, one of the photos of the property shows a rooftop jacuzzi and this is presented as though this were a comoon amenity for the property, however it is a feature specific to only certain rooms. On booking.com, the core listing for the property lists "jacuzzi" and "balcony" as amenities, which implies that all rooms have access this, however the room I booked had access to neither of this features, and the details of the specific room did not specify the lack of these amenities, which I only learned of the morning I was traveling to La Paz. I asked the property for a cancellation and refund given the misleading nature of the listing, but they refused to do this. Booking.com also refused to provide a refund. I was very disappointed, as it was important for me to book a property with some access to the outdoors. I even repeatedly asked the owners if there was indeed a balcony in the room, and they kept refusing to answer my question. I had to ask and insist on receving clarity multiple times before they finally admitted that the room didn't have a balcony. This came after me calling them and booking.com numerous times. My advice: do not book with these dishonest onwera and don't use booking.com who were useless and refused to hold the owners to account. Stick to hotels.com instead, they are far more reliable...
Read moreThis review is for the apartments. Currently here from February 15 until the 24th. We ended up booking 2 suites - a 2 bedroom (B18) and a 1 bedroom (B19) for an extra room. Both units had a fridge, stove, microwave/convention oven. Both units were clean and fairly well equipped. The 2 bedroom was great - all the necessary amenities, including a hot tub, washer and dryer (I think that is the only unit that has them) and 2 scooters. Check in was a breeze and the responses on WhatsApp were virtually instantaneous. The location was perfect - close to all the restaurants, shopping, and the Malecon. My only complaint would be the street noise until late at night on the weekends - granted we were there during carnival, so... We would stay here again the next...
Read moreThe host is wonderful. The location looked perfect. What I missed was that this was a commercial space renovated as a room rental. The bar below blasted music out their open doors past 1 am. The walls to the outside are commercial large panes of glass- so little to no noise insulation. The light on the air conditioner lit the whole room all night. The mattress was soft and sagged in the middle Even with ear plugs and an eye mask, not one of the four of us (in 2 different rooms) slept more than half the time...
