Appearances can deceive, but by all appearances, El Parnaso is a restaurant and a place to convert currency, a casa de cambio. I saw a money changing sign from the central Malecón area, went over, and was shocked to see the terrible tipo de cambio offered. In fact, walk along the Malecón and notice how so many businesses are ripping people off with unconscionable exchange rates.
