Simply terrible food. For a place that supposedly specializes in ribs and has "Ribs" in it's name it is not only the worst place I have ever had ribs but also the worst place we have eaten in La Paz. By far.
We ordered sweet potato fries but, despite asking the waiter to speak slowly because our Spanish is not great (which he did not do), there was a misunderstanding and we got regular fries. Ok, fine, but they were terrible. Limp and some were uncooked. There was no salt on them and none on the table. Sweet corn was the best thing I ate and I would only give it 2 stars out of 5. The ribs though, they were either pressure cooked or boiled, neither of which leaves you any flavor. While remarkably soft as pressure cooking will do, they would have been better served with a spoon than knife or fork because at least that would help hold the amount of sauce needed to choke down these tasteless flesh nuggets.
At least the beer was cold, but for 2 people sharing one rack of ribs and an almost $40 tab we definitely...

The ribs are decent but they're boiled. Proper ribs should be boiled and then charred on a grill or bbq for that cripyness and extra flavor.
The mac and cheese was probably the only thing that I liked, although the mac and cheese pasta pieces were extremely tiny.
The baked potatoe was severely disappointing because it was served cold.
The baked beans tasted like they came out of a can and were reheated. They could have used something extra to spice them up, such as some bacon pieces.
We have yet to find a restaurant in La Paz that we really like with really good food but maybe we are spoiled coming from Puerto Vallarta, where it is a...
Read moreAstonishingly tasteless. Anyone who loves costilla de puerco or carnitas should be disappointed. You get a plain rack o' pork in a plastic basket on a street corner with an optional 80 calories, 300 milligrams of sodium and 10 grams of sugar for a two-tablespoon serving of one of their "BBQ sauces" meant to add some flavor since the meat tasted utterly bland. Good fries, but a full rack combo, even if you adore it's flavorlessness, is too expensive and is just enough for one adult. Calling this "soul food" is picking a fight with EL Chamuco or getting kicked...
