This little cafe on the hotel strip in San Jose del Cabo may well be a relief from the institutional monotony of the large resorts across the street. But for anyone seeking a quality Mexican breakfast, this is not the place. For my huevos rancheros, the short-order cook had the pan so hot that they burned the bottom of the egg but left the yolk far too soft. Even the modestly flavor salsa roja couldn’t make up for the plastic-like Eva’s and the gummy tortillas. This was our first restaurant in Mexico and one of our favorites! Sitting outside in the evening is so peaceful! The staff is very helpful and attentive! Most are speak English too, if you are concerned. The prices are good, especially so close to the resorts.

Chips are thick and tasty. We went back several times during our trip. We want to go back to San Jose del Cabo just to eat there again!
