Worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at many hotels. Normally, if a hotel of this cost was cleaner than the street and had a working toilet it would be no complaints from me. You get what you pay for. But this place needs to be condemned. Front desk staff extremely unwelcoming and cold - no info about wifi, or breakfast. Room was like prison, only dirtier. To use the (non-functioning) toilet you had to have your feet in the shower. No toilet paper, no washcloth, no shampoo or toothpaste. Sink was probably a foot wide. The shower was pretty ok because and the shower pressure was the only saving grace. Sheets were clean, but heavily stained. Mattress looked like something out of a dump. Didn't see any bugs though. If there was wifi, I don't know about it. No refrigerator, no hairdryer, no washcloth. Room has a basic room lock, no deadbolt. The phone in the room doesn't call the US. Neither does the front desk. The worst was the smell. Never in my life. I have stayed in my share of nasty hotels but this entire place reeked of stale cigarette smoke. If you have allergies of any kind, do not stay at this place. God the smell and then when you had the shower on it was the smell mixed with humidity because the room has no ventilation. The only good thing about this place is the location - 2 min walk to Revolucion and right beside an OXXO (that doesn't sell alcohol). I checked out after one night....

The hotel is only slightly better than the 350/night places around the corner, making it worth a price of around 500/night. Yet, it's 1,100/night. A very poor value and bad choice for any budget traveler.
Web published prices are not up-to-date and do not reflect what is actually available.
Standard room barely large enough for the double bed and not much wider than one can touch both sides of the room with arms outstretched.
Overhead light only with the switch near door. No switch or lighting around bed for seeing things at night or reading before bed.
Almost no appointments or finishes, just a blank room.
Rooms are wonderfully clean, pleasantly surprising.
Great location.
All hallway noise enters rooms, including doors opening/closing, any talking, any use of phones and even some amount from reception. Extremely obnoxious.
2nd shift reception unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. She actually seems "cool" and probably fun to hangout with, but is probably in the wrong job. Fortunately, she was competent at the hard skills aspects of her role. The soft skills, or lack there of, were more appropriate for a bartender at biker bar or back-office worker, not client facing.
There is a much better hotel 1/2 a block away for only about 200mxn more per night on...
Read moreThe location is great and the rooms are comfortable. However, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and entitled for absolutely no reason, I don’t know who she thinks she is🤣 She checked us in with the worst attitude and when my husband was bringing our bags to the lobby so he could go park the car, she had the audacity to yell at him “are you parking now or when?”. Before my husband pulls up to the parking garage, she said she would let the parking guy know that my husband was heading over so the guy opens the door, but she didn’t. My husband had to walk back to the hotel and tell her that no one was opening, and that’s when she told the guy to help him. Super grosera, engreída y con una muy mala actitud, que lástima que gente así trabaje en el staff porque la ubicación del hotel es demasiado conveniente. Ojalá se le quite su cara de...
