MULLME Museo de La Lucha Libre Mexicana — Attraction in Baja California

This was a fascinating museum to walk through -- from the placards (now translated, if you've been reading the earlier reviews) that did an excellent job of setting lucha libre in a regional context, to the guide who took the time to catch us on our way out and explain the collections in the building to us as well as the building's older history, it was clear that there has been a lot of thought put into making the collections understandable even to those who (like us) were not necessarily preexisting lucha libre aficionados.

A must see spot off you are a luche libre fan. Upstairs is the luche part with hundreds of masks, photos and hair (yes, hair.) Downstairs is an interesting collection too but the upstairs has the goods. You even get to go into the wrestling ring for photos. When we visited there was a wrestler visiting from Tokyo and a lot of fans waiting in line for an autograph. But there was no line to get in the museum. If only cost $3...

An awesome hidden gem in Tijuana! The tour guide Zaurel is incredibly passionate and therefore knowledgeable about all things geek from Marvel to DC to Mexican Lucha Libres! The museum itself is absolutely stunning with surprises around every corner. Definitely recommended for families, kids, geeks, or really any visitor to Tijuana that wants to see something unique...
