HOTEL PARIS — Hotel in Baja California

I was looking to stay someplace for two weeks and this place was perfect. Safe, clean, and very friendly staff. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff, from the front desk person to the security guard. All pleasant, gracious and very helpful.

It’s no frills. Simple. Bed, bathroom, room safe, desk. Like a motel 6. For the price, it was perfect.

I checked out some of the other local motels and was very disappointed. I was lucky, I had a local with me (I can’t speak Spanish). Ask to see a room. One place that was more expensive had a glass and marble exterior and gorgeous front desk space. When I went to see the room? One star at best, like a place you rent by the hour. So be careful.

The only issue with this place is noise. Quiet enough during the day and weekday nights. Weekends? Bring earplugs if you plan on going to bed early. It’s very close to the main strip (25 yards) and is catercorner to a nightclub. I didn’t take away a star because I knew what I was getting into. Closing the windows helps a tiny bit...

This was guys night out and we wanted to stay close to Centro. It was a last minute booking and I couldn't find better hotel and with 4 star review from other guy, I thought it would be ok but I was wrong.||Staff was friendly but could not speak English. The room was dirty. We found three roaches running for their lives as I opened the bathroom door.||Bathroom window was shattered, and I let the staff know as we stepped out of hotel to eat. When we came back, the window was taped w/ plastic.||Furniture / paints on wall / pillow / etc... basically everything in the room was worn out, outdated. The pillows were probably the worst. Even though cover was clean, I could see the insert was extremely dirty and old. ||||At night we came back around 12am. The music from outside was unbearable. I brought ear plugs for myself but my friend didn't. He could not sleep at all. Also, AC was very noisy as well.||||I would not recommend anyone...

was stuck in tijuana for an extra night so found this place and decided to book in.||||lovely staff stood out in this budget hotel, happy to help with anything they could understand, and checked us in early which was a great help.||||the room itself, unfortunately smelt like it had recently being painted, and the windows weren't open, so that took a little while to leave the room.||||apart from that, nice hot showers, the wifi worked.. tv didn't work for some reason in our room, but it was a nice big flat screen, and I'm sure one call and they would of got it working.||||quite a loud hotel with all the action of the clubs, maybe it was just a friday night, unsure if its all the same...
