This place is well priced. They offer by the hour (if you're into that sort of thing), by the day, and they offer weekly rates as well. Downstairs in the main lobby you can purchase ice cold drinks, they also sell snacks, basic necessities like hygienic care products, lighters, cigarettes (including loose for 5 pesos each), and condoms amongst other things. The usual front desk receptionists name is Emilio and Emilio is one of the kindest men my husband and I have ever met! He always makes sure we are happy during our stay, he's entertaining to have conversations with (really helps that he is bilingual lolz!) and he has just overall been awesome to us during our entire stay. Excellent customer service, Emilio. Everyone else is nice as well. The cleaning women are on site 24/7 which also helps whenever we needed anything like fresh towels or extra soap or toilet paper. This hotel also happens to be in the most perfect location surrounded by shopping, night life, restaurants, fast food, street vendors and it's easy to find a taxi. I would...
Read moreIts comical how bad this hotel is. When I arrived the desk clerk gave me & room with only ONE bed when I reserved a room with TWO. It took a really heated argument with that guy just to get him to fix the situation. He spoke English very will & couldn't understand that I wasn't a guy with a very different name than the one on my passport or a random guy off the street who didn't have a reservation. I've never had to argue so hard with someone to get the room I reserved. That was just the start of the roughest night I've ever spent in a hotel. The staff is constantly in the hallways with their loud walkie-talkies all night. When other room doors open or close it shook our door like someone was trying to break into the room, this is unsettling. On top of all that multiple night clubs in the area shook the hotel til 6am. JUST STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! There is no way this hotel gets repeat visitors, only newbies that don't know better but I hope this review helps you...
Read moreFirst off, this is Hotel Revoluccion now. They did some remodeling, fancied up the facade of the building and churched up the lobby/reception area, and now they think they are big timers. Well I'll tell you this. The first night I stayed here, while I was sleeping (I'm narcoleptic and fall asleep at the drop of a hat), somebody broke into my room and stole my brand new laptop, backpack, raybans, new phone, and my wallet. Of course, nobody is willing to help me get anything back or do anything that would benefit me at all. The management even refused to look at the cameras. I've never been treated so badly in my life. That's not even including the awful room with NO ventilation so it stays a balmy 120 degrees in there all day. I'll NEVER come back here again and I don't recommend ANYONE else coming...
