Casa Ikal — Hotel in Cancún

We booked Casa Ikal as we wanted to stay close the ADO Bus Station, which is a 5 minutes walk away. As at 7:30PM nobody was at the property, we could enter the main door and get our keys with the instructions provided in advance. The room (#1) was comfortable in general and was equipped with a small kitchen and some Equipment. The room only had a tiny window to the outside only, but size and comfort were ok. As (probably) guests were shouting in the hotel and knocking at several rooms at 11PM, it did not feel really safe that there was no staff/security at the property. Also from our room you could hear other guests using the code and enter the main door through the whole night, so it was not really a relaxing stay. If you don‘t expect to have „hotel-services“ like checkin, security etc. the stay here can be ok, as the rooms in general are clean and...

Excited to give the first review! The pictures talk for themselves! It is incredible. Very clean, cute, and there is pure water on every level. The room has everything you need. Nice kitchen with fridge, coffee, silverware. Even the shower was nice since you have the temperature and the pressure you want. Many places don’t have it. Nice little restaurant at the entrance of the place. A nice balcony and had the chance to meet the owner and staff, very nice people. Maybe having a more confortable matress would be a plus. בכזה יחס גרוע לא נתקלתי הרבה זמן ! אין משמעות לשום דבר שתסכמו איתם, אין להם מילה. יבטיחו משהו אחד תקבלו משהו אחר.

סיכמתי איתם על 2 לילות של שבוע הבא, הבטיחו שיש מקום והכל בסדר. בערב קיבלתי הודעה שאין לסיכום שלנו תוקף יותר.

ביקשתי עוד שמיכה אמרו שכבר נתנו אקסטרה שמיכה והיא כל כך דקה !! בלילה היה קר ממש .

בדרך כלל אני כותבת ביקורות טובות, הפעם זו היתה חוויה כל כך רעה !

It was really bad experience with them 😔 Usually I write good recommendations, this time it was really not nice people, the way they promise 1 thing at noon and then they cancelled it at night.

I asked for another blanket, they said they already gave an extra blanket, and they can't give 1 more 😳
