To start, you will have to park somewhere else and walk to get here. Not driving it may be more convenient as there is a bus stop right in front of the lot. We stopped by here one day after receiving complimentary drink tickets from the staff. We a beachside view which is always beautiful, day or night. The manager was present throughout the night. Our server was okay, but the star of show was the server assistant. He was so sweet and helpful. We got guacamole with fried octopus and the crab cake as our appetizers. The portions are quite large (for everything). For out entrees I got the Caesar salad and the seafood soup. My boyfriend got the skirt steak fajitas. Flavor wise the soup was kind of bland but some lime and salt helped me a long way. They put a mix of shrimp, fish, octopus, and a little bit of crab. Everything still has its shell which I didn’t expect lol. The fajitas was good. The drinks were good and will definitely help you feeling good. Our server then offered us tequila shots (and brought over the most expensive bottles in the house) lmaoooo. It wasn’t a bad time, but I’ll say that if you’re not a big seafood eater this may not be for you. Of all the places I tried, I would’ve swap this one out for a different experience. If anything go for the drinks alone.

Looking for seafood and good quality bar, this hotel district is the place to be, Almadia bar and marisqueria. This is our first time here. Our server(s) were wonderful and attentive. The restaurant is right in front of the beach with a lovely / romantic view. Today was super windy. So we decided to not have front row seats to an ocean view. That was a bummer but where my husband and I sat was good enough. Let's dig into the food. I had octopus with grilled potatoes with garlic seasoning and Coca Cola and a shot of tequila and etc and my other half had the classic fajitas with classic mojito and Pino colada. He was disappointed that the Pino colada was water down. We had an appetizer that had a mixture of fried shrimp and octopus with delicious fresh guacamole. We thought the fried shrimp and octopus were chewy and not fresh. Some hits and some misses. Overall, we had more hits than misses and would visit again and would also recommend this place.

A place in prime Hotel Zona that really rolls out the red carpet for tourists. As soon as you sit down, they bring a fresh platter of the daily catch specials to entice you to order them. They come with a side of rice and salad and are very filling for 1-2 people. They are very convincing you should order this. The items can be prepared any way you’d like, I love garlic so got the grilled red snapper smothered in garlic sauce and the best tostada of my life with grilled shrimp and crab called the Tostada Ensenada. Will definitely be going back for this! The scenery is lovely, overlooking the bluest waters I’ve ever seen and little cabanas. The staff is incredibly attentive, feels like they watch your every move waiting for opportunities to tend to you. They are all very nice and friendly, this is definitely a nicer option on the strip.

We made a reservation for New Year’s Eve through Open Table over a week in advance. There was no details of a fixed NYE menu neither in Open Table or in the restaurant’s social media. When we arrived at the restaurant at 9pm, not only we were told that there was a mandatory fixed menu of ~120 USD per person, but also that all the reservations made through Open Table would have to sit in terrible shared tables in the sand with 8 other strangers - to celebrate one of the most important days of the year. All the other guests had private tables with decorations and proper arrangements, except from us and the others who made the reservations through the same website. The manager was EXTREMELY RUDE telling us that they couldn’t do anything for us, even though they had our contact and had over a week to let us know about the conditions. They ruined our celebration and had NO EMPATHY regarding everything that happened, leaving us without a dinner plan at NYE. Terrible service and no carrying about customer experience, wouldn’t recommend the restaurant to...
