La Guerrerense Carreta was made famous by Anthony Bourdain, and this street seafood stall has entertained numerous famous visitors since. The sit-down restaurant on the opposite side of the street offers an expanded menu (and higher prices), but I went in to sample their wide selection of ceviches. The Pescado con Mango y Habanero was made with chopped fish mixed with mango and habenero; and the Almeja was chopped clams mixed with onion, tomato, and cilantro. But the most special ceviche of all was definitely the Erizo, or sea urchin, which had been mixed into a creamy paste. Each of the ceviches was served on a crunchy toastada and topped with avocado slices. Each table was also started with tortilla chips along with avocado salsa, two red salsas, and salsa macha, or fried red chilies with peanuts in oil. Lastly, I had an order of the Ensenada-style Taco de Pescado, made of a battered fish fillet, pico de gallo, and sour cream on a corn tortilla. While the taco was tasty, the sour cream had an overwhelming mayo-like flavor, which made the taco taste like a Filet-O-Fish. Overall, however, the food was on point, and the service was super friendly and attentive too.

This delightful eatery offers the same delectable fare as the renowned La Guerrerense stand, but with the added benefit of a comfortable, sit-down dining experience. Although the prices are marginally higher, the value for the added comfort is well worth it. The menu not only includes the favorites from their nearby stand but also boasts an extensive array of additional culinary delights. During our visit, my cousins sampled the shrimp chilaquiles, which they thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for a savory michelada to accompany my meal, and it proved to be a refreshing choice. The tostadas lived up to their reputation, rivaling the quality and taste of those served at the original cart. However, the true star of the show was, without a doubt, the octopus tacos. These tacos were nothing short of extraordinary, easily claiming a spot among the top three tacos I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine, making it an absolute must-try dish for anyone visiting this exceptional eatery. So, do yourself a favor and indulge in the unforgettable octopus tacos - you won't regret it!

As good as described. We tried pozole de mariscos, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, tostadas and the kids: fish and chips, shrimp pasta with Alfredo sauce and the chicken tenders. The pasta was loaded with shrimp, tacos and tostadas were amazing. I’d prefer a lighter fish for the kids fish and chips, the one we got was either tuna or sword fish, very dense and meaty, they’d prefer a bass or tilapia. And the shrimp taco batter was a bit overpowering, but overall still a good taco, I’d just go with the fish. They’re house lemonades are off the charts, they also have house beers. All the taco sauces are home made and unique, very spicy too. The chicken tenders were made with seafood tempura and felt very light and juicy. Some of the best tenders you’ll ever have. P.S if you’re getting aguachiles ask them to make them less spicy, so you can enjoy them.

I've previously have eaten at Sabinas food truck in Ensenada in the past (about 8 times), as well at some couple of events she has done in Tijuana, San Diego and Los Angeles and always had enjoy it beyond my expectations. Today I decided to take my family on a road trip from LA to Ensenada to visit Sabina Restaurante, I got to admit I was pretty excited to try something new. So we get there about 5:20pm (40 minutes before they closed) and other some ceviche and some shrimp tacos. First of all the way in which you order is a little bit cinfusing. Here it goes, so you order from one of the guys who is in the kitchen either it's tscos, tostadas or something else, then you have to pay (pretty simple) but what makes it confusing is the fact that they don't explain you that unless you ask somebody first, for example my mother-in-law other received her other and went to sit down at a table while the rest of the family was ordering, unfortunately one the cashiers noticed and went to the table and told her in a rude manner the way ordering work at the restaurant. So I asked what everybody ordered then told the cashiers what to charge me, once I paid she asked if I wanted my tab open which I said no. And I wondered why she asked me about the open tab, so we finished and we where ready for round two but now one of the waitress while he was removing our plates he asked if we wanted to order something else we said yes and came back to take our order. So I ask the management of Sabina, why not make the waitress take the order of the table for starters and avoid the whole confusion of pay before hand or not. IF YOU'RE GONNA MAKE IT LATER DO IT FROM THE BEGINNING. Also food wasn't as good as I imagined even the ceviches weren't good. Shrimp tacos not recommended at all. Really disappointed never coming back to Sabina Restaurante, probably to the corners food truck but highly doubted. A loyal...
