Ecoco Holbox — Hotel in Isla Holbox

I don’t even know where to start - I really found a home in Holbox. Zoe has been an amazing host from the start. She sent me all the great places to eat and provided me with necessary contacts on the island. Also every morning you can enjoy a really good Mexican coffee in the dining area and talk to the other guests (if you’d like). Zoe made all the guests feel welcome and home.

At first I was not sure about this accommodation since I read some negative reviews regarding the location. After staying here, I would really recommend the Ecoco to anyone who is environmentally aware and wants to stay in a quite, beautiful area. I even extended my stay here for an additional five nights because I loved it so much!

The accommodation is situated a little bit outside from the city center and the beach. However it is only a ten minute walk and you’re in the center of everything! :)

We had a fantastic stay at Ecoco! Zoe was one of the best hosts we've ever had. She was so friendly and helpful for showing us all of the best things to do on Holbox. The accommodation is fully off-grid and powered by solar panels. So everything is super sustainable and natural. The beds were also very comfortable and we had great sleeps there. Very relaxing environment and close enough to walk or bike to the beach. The breakfasts were also included and delicious. Very reasonably priced and amazing accomodations. I stayed for 7 nights. The beach is just a few short blocks away.
