We recently dined at Africa and it was nothing short of exceptional. The warm lighting, elegant décor, and soft music created a welcoming atmosphere.

The service was impeccable. Abdul and the servers were very attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. Such as THE LOBSTER PIZZA!!! Which is a must try! I also had the shrimp Alfredo pasta 10/10! Each course arrived promptly, and we never felt rushed, allowing us to savor each bite.

Overall, Africa restaurant delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the flawless service to the exquisite food, everything was top-notch. Abdul was even kind enough to set up a table for us to watch the Canelo fight.

Our server Joe welcomed us with menu recommendations, stories and a sense of welcoming. The pizza was awesome - some of the better pizza we have had recently. We also had a yummy citrus salad and large chocolate brownie for dessert. Drinks were also awesome with a 2 for 1 special. Good atmosphere with outdoor lights and music, also a camaraderie between other tables and customers. (A couple raccoons running around on the outskirt of the property but that is nothing the restaurant could control - lots of raccoons in Holbox!). A really nice place just a bit off the main city centre! We almost did not go there because it was a little off the main tourist streets, but fortunately we did so and were amazed by this nice and lovely location. The food was really, really delicious and the pizzas are really huge for a relatively low price. Instead of being overwhelmed by overly loud salsa music, we had a really lovely live percussion session which accompanied us throughout our meal.
