This hotel looks like something from back in the 80s. Photos online are completely incorrect and its frightening how bad the bathroom was. You see I understand it is a relatively cheap hotel however theres still standards to be upheld and this wasnt it. I went to the reception to discuss the state of my room and spoke to the receptionist. The security guard made a sly remark of "if we cant understand we cant understand" in spanish so I spoke spanish to the lady and they still played dumb. Would not recommend.

Location is good, walking distance to the little downtown, ATM’s and bus station, the service was rude and unprofessional and the rooms … well unfortunately we got a dirty room, toilet was nasty there was urine all around the seat and hair that was nasty, the beds were comfortable but the other room we got there was pii or some kind of human fluids on the sheets, we tried to report this issues to management but the employees refused to get us in contact with someone higher up! We were just there in July 2023

Actually a nice place which can bring a much better experience. I was welcome by a feminist receptionist whose first thing was to teach me how to wear a mask correctly. Completely unfriendly and impudent. Then she couldn't charge my credit card because they didn't have a proper terminal for that. Very unprofessionell. The wifi is almost not usable inside of the room and the place itself could have a bit of maintenance. If they improve all these things it can be a 4 stars place.

I stayed solo in a standard double room for 6 nights during the Christmas period. I firstly booked for 1 night but I realized that this was a good value deal based on the hotel quality and facilities. After I checked in, I decided to stay for another 5 nights. I booked through third party travel agent website which I got a very good discount with free breakfast.||||The hotel is about 3-4 blocks away from ADO CAME station which I could walk straight to the hotel. My choice of this hotel was correct because after my overnight bus ride from Chetumal, I only wanted to be in a comfy hotel to settle down in the early morning.||||The hotel is very decent with spacious lobby and small swimming pool with pool side tables and chairs and 3 sun deck chairs. The hotel is about 4 blocks from the Cathedral and there is a supermarket nearby. There is a restaurant but it only serves breakfast. My room #113 on the ground is spotless clean with TV and air conditioner, although the writing desk is small. The bed is comfortable but it seems that the bed sheets are not big enough to cover the mattress, that caused a bit uncomfortable. Also, the electronic room key didn't work after every night stay and I had to go to receptionist to rest on daily basis.|| ||Over my few days of days, I met a few receptionists who were generally helpful to resolve any issues or requests, despite they only speak a little English, while I don't speak Spanish at all.||||I will stay here again in my next...

I was sent here by the other hotel where I initially booked. There were some technical problems with the AC unit they there were no other rooms available. They sent me here...but:||1. This hotel was inferior to the one I booked||2. This hotel was more expensive than the one I booked.||||In short, this hotel is very bad. Starting with the front desk, the fellow on duty didn't speak any English at all and he acted like I shsould know and speak Spanish to him.||Very unfriendly. No breakfast even if this room was much more than I booked at the previous hotel. They sent me back 2 block away at the hotel where I initially booked.||The room was outdated, beat up if I may say, nothing worked properly.||It had a balcony, but the door would not open more that about 5". No need anyway, it is on calle 61 which is a main street going to the main square, very very loud, buses passing by most of the night. Cheap windows also, no sound insulation what so ever. Sleep quality is poor, bed and pillows are bad, bathroom is old, fixtures are rusty (or dirty?) very unpleasant sight.||I does have parking and WiFi, this is a good thing. Also location is decent, 3 blocks from the main (Cathedral) square. ||Avoid it, there are better places in...
