You know, I wish I could convey how much it means for me to say I've never had a better sandwich. Given my justified pride in my own culinary skills and my diverse sampling of culinary cultures, I was absolutely stunned to be presented with a simply elegant Focaccia bread bacon and blueberry jam sandwich I couldn't hope to master if I wanted to try. And let's be clear, I have no interest in trying to cook better than the absolute master they have running their kitchen. Portion sizes for all foods are generous enough to split between two hungry people and be satisfied, while returning for three visits proves the quality of food and service is repeatable and deliverable, time after time. Read moreNestled in Mérida's charming streets, Cosmo is an enchanting breakfast haven that absolutely captivated me. Hailing from NYC, where food expectations are sky-high, I was delighted to find Cosmo surpassing them all. The French Toast here is divine—thick, golden slices with a crisp exterior and an incredibly soft interior, topped with delightful glaze. It’s perfection on a plate, easily the best I've tasted anywhere. Their Avocado Toast, crowned with a flawlessly poached egg, is a gourmet triumph. Fresh, creamy avocado layered with spot-on seasoning makes each bite a flavor explosion. Let’s not forget their coffee—bold, rich, and energizing. It's just what you need to revitalize your senses for a day of exploring Mérida's ruins and cenotes. Cosmo’s amazing service complements their exquisite menu, with friendly, welcoming staff adding to a truly delightful dining experience. In my book, it’s a flawless 5.0 for breakfast...
