We booked the room last minute because of the price and unbeatable location. Room are newly renovated and chic. I like the big table in the room, ceiling is high. Reception desk is super helpful, warm and nice people. However, we probably would not book again - Water is a bit too cold and water pressure is very low. Really low. I had to take shower and wash my hair separately due to it’s too cold. Though on booking.com the room is 55m2 - it’s not. 6mx6m. Max. Though on booking it claims to have washing machine IN THE KITCHEN - No washing machine in the room. Only shared laundry. When I asked the hotel, the hotel was sorry for the confusion. But sorry, it’s wrong information on booking. not a confusion. Toilet seat cover is broken. Window is only one layer. Considering it’s in the city center and there are restaurants and night market just downstairs, you can hear music and noice after 11pm Socket is only on one side of the bed, not very convenient as we are 2 people sleeping...
Read moreOutstanding location and great value. Just a few minutes' walk from the Zócalo, Metro stations, Museo de Arte Popular, Alameda Central, and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are many many touches of elegance - the fancy elevator, the beautiful stairway, etc. Rooftop patio is nice for hanging out with friends, but if you're alone there isn't much to see - the street is hidden from there. The kitchenette has a toaster, microwave, and coffee maker, dishes too, but no supplies. On the 3rd floor there's a machine for filtered water, also hot or chilled I think. The manager Francisco was very kind and tremendously, patiently helpful with everything (including getting us a taxi). If you speak a little Spanish, he will probably talk to you like you're a native and you might have to remind him to translate with his phone. Nice little café across the street, also a tiny 7-11 and a pharmacy...
