Infinito Condos — Hotel in Playa del Carmen

You will get no sleep here as there is a bar opposite on the second floor and you are on the third floor which plays loud thudding music from 4pm until 3am. If you look on google maps before you book, it says it is a restaurant but it is bar with live DJs.|The apartment was dirty, there were broken items in the kitchen (so be sure to check everything as you may not get your deposit back), we had to wait in the apartment for a couple of afternoons for the maintenance to come and fix things like lights, broken patio doors, leaking shower.|We asked to be moved and the concierge asked his manager (who lives in Buenos Aires and probably doesn’t have a clue how bad the situation is) and they would not move us. They would not give us a refund so that we could use the money to pay for another apartment. We ended up moving out and paying out more money for alternative accommodation.|They do not care once they have your money.|There was also no water supply or electricity supply for 2 nights. The concierge said it was “not their fault” – I guess that’s OK then?!!!!! We couldn’t get a shower, go the toilet, get in the electric front door until someone walked out. It was a very unpleasant...

We stayed at one of Gina’s Airbnb’s at the Infinito Apartments. The stay fell well short of our expectations.

The apartment is LOUD at night. Nearly unlivable until after 3AM. It’s only a block from 5th st and Senior Frogs. Do not stay here if you don’t plan on sleeping well into the afternoon.

The apartment is in ill repair. Broken tiles, doors that bang all night in the wind, creeky bed and stained textiles.

As a short term rental / Airbnb, it lacks basic necessities. Soap, sufficient towels, a working television…the list goes on. No hot water in the master bath as well.

This is quibbling, but the pool was not an infinity pool as shown. It was actually a quarter empty. The pool area lacks enough loungers for the number of vacationers in the building looking to use them and the floor is DANGEROUSLY slippery. It overlooks the back of a hotel where employees are searched to ensure they are not stealing.

All in all, a significant disappointment. Would not stay here again for the...

Nice condo in great location but in the 6 weeks we were there we had no water 7 times for a few hrs. and no TV for the first 2 weeks.|The worst part was the extremely loud music in the open air restaurant next door until 2 AM every night. The speakers (20 meters away) we're pointed at the 2 bedrooms so we had to try to sleep in the living room on the couch wearing ear plugs every night.|When I contacted the owner she said the music was not her problem ???|We will be going back to Playa next year but not to this condo !!!|Dennis...
