The Veronica's spa is just awesome. My husband and I were on our honeymoon at Riviera Maya and we stayed at the Valentin Imperial Maya All Inclusive Resort. We wanted to have a couples massage at our resort and it was so expensive ($ 325 for a couple for 1 hour). We wanted to get a deep tissue massage and so I started looking on trip advisor for reviews and as a God's gift I found Veronica's massage spa It is between 24 the and the 26th street. It was so gooood. The staff was very friendly and helped us understand the different types of massages. They were very welcoming and polite. They gave us a good deal of $130 for deep tissue massage for 2 people for 2 hours. Then we entered the massage room. It was so clean and the music was soothing. The towels were clean and it was a heavenly experience. The aroma and the massage oil was extra ordinary. Ina was my massage therapist and Angela was my husband's therapist. They both did an amazing job. They massaged our problem areas and to our surprise 2 hours flew in no time. I slept like a baby and I could hear my husband snoring. At the end of the massage we were so relaxed and energized. We were so happy with Veronica's spa that we tiped the ladies with $26. It was an awesome experience. I would highly recommend it. I will visit Veronica's every time I visit Cancun. Good work...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a luxury spa experience with steam-rooms, saunas, etc, this is not for you. But if you’re looking for a fantastic professional massage (at half - even 1/3rd the price of the hotel spas surrounding it), you will love it. My wife and I had a 60 minute couples massage for 1700 pesos. The other spa’s charge around 2700 for one person!
I get deep tissue massages from a big dude almost every week to manage my Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I’m quite picky about therapists. And it’s irritating to get a therapist who can’t apply enough pressure. But Ina (Eena) and Martha (Marta) - two of the lady therapists here are amazing. Ina is my personal fave.
Be sure to have cash (either Pesos or USD). They don’t accept card. And be sure to have extra for a 10-20% tip. Again, at the Hilton, Hyatt or Wyndham across the street, you’ll pay close to triple (plus triple the tip). And most of that goes to the hotel, not the therapist. No one here has ever tried to upsell me with menthol cremes and candles. It’s basic but great. The rooms are separated by portable walls, so they are quiet and do their jobs...
Read moreMy husband and I had an incredible experience at Veronica’s Massage Gold in Playa del Carmen! We booked a couples massage and it was beyond our expectations. I had Fernanda, who is absolutely phenomenal — she truly knows her craft and technique. I requested a deep tissue massage, and she was able to work out the knots and relieve the pain in my back. I also treated myself to a HedSpa treatment with Fernanda, and it was amazing! It was my first time trying it, and thanks to the great promotion they had, I couldn’t resist. Fernanda did a fantastic job with both the facial massage and the HedSpa service.
My husband had Martha for his deep tissue massage and he was extremely pleased. Martha was excellent — she helped relieve a lot of his muscle pain, and he felt so much better afterwards.
The prices here are very reasonable, especially for the level of service you receive. The massages were truly top-notch. If you get a chance to book with Martha or Fernanda, don’t hesitate — but honestly, everyone here seems wonderful. We will definitely be back when we return to...
