Las Palmas Maya — Hotel in Tulum

We checked in at Tulum, then stated to look for something to eat, we checked 4 restaurants and all they could offer for vegetarians was a salad. Then we came across Las Palmas Maya pure vida CAFE, this is a must check out place. We were welcome by Malika, just looking at her welcoming smiling face, you had to order something. We ordered , mango yogurt smoothie and southern Cherly, this was so healthy with no added sugar. She made vegetarian Fajitas and breakfast burrito with fruits on the side, this tasted sooo good. When we were eating, a couple checked in and Tom welcomed them. I am telling you, he is so good with customer service , it's like he knew these guest . He was telling them about the Island. When they left he came to check on us to see how things were going. He was very nice and he asked us if we need any help about the Island. He gave us some advice, you don't know how much that meant to us. He is American origin we could communicate very well. We travel a lot we were worried about the communication since we don't speak Spanish. Better than Places like...

Stayed at LPM for 5 nights with my family of four and 2 other families. This eco hotel has my highest recommendation. Tom is a superb host and goes above and beyond ensuring his guests are well taken care of. Daily housekeeping service was a nice & unexpected bonus. We had fresh towels (one for beach & one for bath), filtered drinking water, and an onsite communal kitchen area for cooking & hanging out. Enjoyed delicious food and friendly service at the onsite restaurant. Malika and staff are great.

The accommodations exceeded my expectations, and I slept well every night in the treetop suite. 24/7 electricity & AC avail from 8p-5a. Great showers thanks to strong water pressure & hot/cold water. Easy breezy beach access directly across the street via La Eufemia. Parking avail for our compact rental car— which was a real “amenity” considering beach road has very limited parking options.

Loved staying in the jungle-like, almost beach-front property. The kitchen is super handy and you have a lot of freedom to eat/buy whatever you want. The big super market is quiet a ways down the road so having a car rental was helpful. The staff was great and we really enjoyed communicating with everyone on site. The rooms are super clean and we really liked the mosquito net, it was very helpful because the bugs in this area are fierce. Tom was awesome at pointing out all the good spots and a fun companion. The breakfast and coffee on site was yummy and exceeded expectations. It's the shortest walk away from the beach and we even saw baby turtles run toward to ocean for the first time.
