Avoid. tldr: major allergy concern and insanely long wait times. Service was not bad, but it was definitely not good. They had over 10 people working but nobody seemed to be doing anything. We ordered two drinks, along with two smoothie bowls. Was very excited to try their golden milk. We waited 15 minutes, no drinks. There were only a couple other tables, by no means were they busy. Drinks never came. Asked server for wifi password, he didn’t know the password and didn’t know anyone who did. Ok. Finally, after about 25 minutes, the server brings two smoothie bowls (not acknowledging the lack of drinks) and the smoothie bowls have PEANUTS on them. The menu says “nuts”. We assumed this would be almonds or cashews and perhaps this was our fault, because I would never expect someone to put peanuts on something without listing it. “Nuts” and “peanuts” are very different as one is a very common allergy! My husband is allergic to peanuts and we immediately alerted the server, who was convinced it said peanuts on the menu. No, it said “nuts”. After 30 minutes of nothing but problems, we decided to just go ahead and leave. So I’m not sure if the food is good or not. Presentation was average for Tulum but seemed overpriced and you are definitely paying for a vibe/atmosphere. How 10+ people failed to get two basic drinks to a table is still...
Read moreWOW! We were completely blown away by the food, atmosphere, and service at Liquido y Solidio— at least once we could find it! (Hint: It’s located behind the big black gates for the Huaya Camp)
Pages of delicious and meticulously prepared, smoothies, drinks, bowls, sandwiches, etc that were easily among the best food that we ate the 2+ weeks in Mexico. So good, in fact, we visited twice during our 4 days in Tulum.
Recommend going for breakfast/brunch, grabbing a Day Pass to the Huaya Camp (200MXN per person, includes access to the Loungers/Pool/Towels, and a smoothie). Yoga classes also available here on a donation basis.
Regardless, can’t go wrong with the food here. Just be warned that service can be a little slow— but when the food comes out, you will understand why and...
Read moreHard to rate! PLACE : vibe is realy nice, its beautiful, even being on the road doesn’t ruin it. I love it for mixing vegan and non vegan friends - options for all! SERVICE: takes long time! So if in a rush, dont go. Also service depends who you gonna get, really. Some folks are not familiar with dietary restrictions and mix orders up. Once i asked for a vegan avocado toast, they brought it with feta cheese, I asked to change in a super sweet way, and they brought the same toast with removed feta, but some chunks of it were still in the avocado, so those who are lactose intolerant, be careful - they may not take your allergy for serious. But other waiter staff is super attentive and...
