Hidden Gem ~ Romantic, Private, Beachfront & So Close to the Ocean

If you are looking for a romantically beautiful, private, beachfront house to rent then Casa Gaia is what you have been dreaming of. It is a charmingly designed new beach house with the best location I have seen in Tulum. It has a stunning view which can be seen from anywhere in the house (even the lovely shower). We enjoyed the most tranquille nights with the doors wide open, letting in the ocean breezes (no bugs!) and falling asleep to the lulling sound of waves.

The deck off the front is literally overlooking the ocean so that is all you see. It is surprisingly private as it opens up to the powdery beach and gin blue ocean but it is situated so that the surrounding lush foliage prevents anyone from being able to see your deck or inside. One of the best things about staying on the beach is having access to one of the worlds most stunning beaches to lounge on or walk along as you like. We loved going for long walks without having to carry anything as well as coming and going from our own private lounge furniture and pergola. I also appreciated the option of rinsing off in the outdoor shower after an ocean swim or having a shower in our house before heading off for lunch. It is short walking distance from amazing restaurants or you could enjoy the convenience of your own well appointed kitchen for mixing up cocktails or preparing fresh fruit to enjoy throughout the day. You will definitely want to get out and enjoy the world class culinary scene Tulum has to offer and this house is perfectly situated to do just that. If it is nightlife you are looking for, Tulum has a rich music scene and so many beautiful venues to enjoy.

WOW! We rented 4 villas owned by Guy and everything about each house exceeded our expectations. Casa Bonita was the home my husband and I stayed in leading up to the wedding and then stayed later for our honeymoon. The home is GORGEOUS and stares right at the beautiful Tulum beach and ocean. Each morning you could see the sunrise with a rainbow of colors I will never forget. The room was spacious, clean, and had a balcony. Lounge chairs, beach floats, and an umbrella were available each day. I highly recommend booking several of the houses on the property if you are traveling with a large group or plan to have your wedding in Tulum. Our wedding party was able to bounce between the houses and hang out together each night. We hosted our welcome party there between the 4 homes on the property and it was gorgeous and an easy walk to bed after all of the festivities. My husband and I stayed after our wedding party left for a few additional nights. Other families checked into the other homes and it was still so private and we felt like we had the area to ourselves. It was truly a magical time in Tulum. If you are looking for good food, many of the wonderful restaurants are walking distance from the house. Gitano & Casa Jaguar are also close by if you want an evening cocktail. La Zebra is right next door and has food (including breakfast), drinks, and entertainment at night! Guy, the owner, was AMAZING! He was there to greet us at check in and checked on us each day. He has great recommendations of places for margaritas, lunch, and romantic dinners. I cannot say enough wonderful things about these properties to do them justice....

We stayed at Mahayana with a group of six and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The property is secure, stunning, and perfectly located right in the middle of the beach strip, giving us easy access to beach clubs, restaurants, and everything Tulum has to offer.|Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having three bathrooms was a huge plus for our group, and we loved relaxing in our private pool. The hammocks and chill spots throughout the property made it feel like our own little paradise.|The on-site taco shop was a highlight—delicious food at a great value—and we truly enjoyed every meal we had there. Housekeeping was thoughtful and consistent, adding a nice touch to our stay. We also appreciated the concierge team’s attentiveness, especially when they quickly helped us after we got locked out of the villa.|The beach access is excellent, and we noticed it had less seaweed compared to other areas, which made our beach time even better. The property also provides fun extras like water toys, which we really enjoyed.|Mahayana exceeded our expectations in every way.
