Myself and my 2 sons went there tonight for food. We didn't find the staff to be super friendly but the restaurant was fairly busy at this point in fairness. We were seated and waited for about 20 minutes to be asked for drinks. We waited mauve another 20 minutes and had to ask for the drinks.
Unfortunately some of the menu we wanted wasn't available which is fair enough, these things happen.
We had 2 portions of the seafood and chicken samosas, I can't remember the name exactly but they were really tasty and well cooked and seasoned.
The older of the 2 boys had the pastilla fruit des mer as they didn't have the chicken available for the main. I had the cous cous viande which was pretty good and my youngest had a crepe with jambon.
The crepe and cous cous were served together and I waited 5 mins before starting for my sons meal to appear. It didn't come so I started as we were sat by the open door area and I didbt want the food to get cold. We waited and called the waiter to remind him. He didn't seem to have forgotten. We waited more. I had finished my meal around 10-15 mins before my son had received his dinner. They did not apologise or offer a reason, almost like it didn't matter. We decided not to have desserts and would not recommend.
When I asked for the bill I was also given the bill for another table before it had to be swapped for the correct one. Felt very disorganised. Seems like a lovely place, food was pretty good but the service was very poor unfortunately and we left disappointed and they did not offer any discount or anything for the inconvenience. Would not return again...

During our holiday in Agadir, we decided to try Blacksmith Restaurant, hoping for a nice meal after reading some positive reviews online. Unfortunately, both the food and service were a major letdown.
We started by ordering drinks, which never arrived. For food, we chose a vegetarian pizza, a caprese salad, and a chicken tajine. The experience quickly went downhill from there. The pizza arrived after half an hour, but it was the wrong order—an anchovies pizza! When we pointed this out, there was no apology, and the pizza was promptly taken to another customer. Our correct pizza and the salad took another 20 minutes to arrive. While they were of decent quality, they didn’t make up for the growing frustration.
The real disappointment came with the tajine. After waiting an hour and a half, we reminded the staff about the missing dish. They eventually brought out a cold tajine pot with dry chicken and a few onions at the bottom—clearly a rushed attempt to pass it off as a proper tajine. The dish was flavorless and lacked the authenticity we had hoped for (see picture attached).
The service compounded the poor experience. Other diners around us seemed to face similar issues, waiting long for their food or to pay their bill. Our waiter forgot the drinks entirely, brought us the wrong pizza, and when we complained about the tajine, he offered us a free drink as compensation—which we declined.
Overall, we left disappointed and cannot recommend Blacksmith Restaurant. With subpar food and poor service, it didn’t feel worth our...
