Kasbah Rose — Hotel in arrondissement de Tanger-Medina طنجة المدينة

We had a wonderful time staying at the Kasbah Rose! Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was so beautiful. The room also had an air conditioner unit so it was a reprieve from the hot Tangier weather. The location in the Kasbah was perfect, it was close to everything, pretty quiet, and a beautiful location of the city. The rooftop was a favorite spot to take a great breakfast and read in the late afternoon with great sights of the city. But our favorite part by far was the hospitality and warmth of Mohamed! Mohamed welcomed us as soon as we arrived with cups of tea and a tour of the hotel. Everyday he would give us recommendations for where to eat that day (all of which were delicious) and also arranged an afternoon excursion out of the city for us. He answered any and all questions and always greeted us when we returned to the hotel after a long day out. Overall, we had no complaints and would highly recommend the Kasbah Rose to anyone...

The hospitality of the Riad's keeper is a highlight of my stay. I made a request to add a little touch to our room as newly weds, and they complied wonderfully. The location is perfect. The rooms where very clean and they have a perfect design to immerse in the culture and to unwind. The rooftop was a main feature and it has a perfect view outside the Kasbah towards the newish city of Tangier. We added breakfast eapecially for the view. The breakfast itself was simple but was perfect for us and it has a nice variety. It is a bit pricey for us (not expensive) but the experience was worth it. What a beautiful place! The rooms remind me of the exact look they were going for: a classic romantic night in Tangier with iconic music playing softly and the breeze gently moving the curtains from your balcony. We loved it. The owner, Lorraine, invited us to check in early for some tea and coffee. We were welcomed by the hotel staff who insisted that we should feel at home. Everyone was great and hospitable. Muhammed set us up with a great guide for a very low price and we were escorted through the kasbah and Medina at our leisure to get food and see all the sights. We felt very safe and comfortable at all times and would love to come back but for even longer....
