Amazing experience in La Maison Blanche with Aziz and his staff.... I emailed Aziz, and was fortunate to find a room in his amazing hotel. The experience started at the Tangier ferry terminal, where Mohammed picked us up in his car, and delivered us to Hotel La Maison Blanche in just a few minutes. Mohammed showed us some interesting things about the Kasbah along the way. When we got to the hotel, Aziz had made lunch reservations, AND drove us to lunch. After lunch Aziz picked us up in his car, and gave us a 3 hour walking tour of the Kasbah, what an experience. Aziz seems to know everyone, from the snake charmers to the bread bakers, and everyone in-between. When it was time for dinner, Aziz's nephew, Zack walked us from the hotel to our dinner location, which was helpful as the Kasbah can be a confusing maze of streets and alleys. The restaurant, which Aziz had selected for us, was an amazing authentic Moroccan restaurant, complete with a live band...And finally, breakfast on the rooftop at La Maison Blanche is an experience my wife and I will never forget. Our stay at La Maison Blanche in Tangier was absolutely perfect. This charming boutique hotel, ideally located in the Medina yet easily accessible by taxi, offers both convenience and character. The owner, Aziz, is exceptionally warm, gracious, and attentive—always ready to accommodate any need with genuine care.||The property itself is stunning: traditional tilework graces the floors and walls, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms modern, and the rooftop terrace provides breathtaking panoramic views over the city. Unlike many smaller riads, the hotel is fully equipped with air conditioning throughout—a welcome comfort.||Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious, featuring Moroccan breads, fresh fruit, olives, and eggs, served with generous hospitality. Aziz also goes above and beyond, assisting with tours, transfers, and pickups from the port or airport.||The hotel is also just steps from the wonderful Club El Morocco, which is open through the day for terrific meals, drinks, coffee - all with terrific ambiance. ||We wholeheartedly recommend La Maison Blanche—it truly made our Tangier visit extraordinary. We had the great good fortune to stay at Aziz Begdouri's wonderful Riad, La Maison Blanche in Tanger from 8th-10th and the 13th-15th April, 2024. We've long known of its reputation from close friends and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we were welcomed at the door by Aziz we felt like part of the family. Nothing is too much trouble and Aziz went above and beyond the call of duty every day we were there. The rooms are quite beautiful and very well appointed. Breakfast on the Roof Terrace is a delight with everything freshly prepared. We would return in a heartbeat as we barely scratched the surface of this magical city. La Maison Blanche is very well located in the Kasbah with terrific restaurants just steps away like the Morocco Club. And there's some sophisticated shopping with elegant clothes and jewellery on offer alongside little places selling spices, baskets and other things. The Moroccan people couldn't be generous and helpful. And Tanger is a very safe place to visit. We would highly recommend a visit and a stay at La...
