Dar Riad Jomana — Hotel in Marrakesh Prefecture

This was our first time to Marrakech and we wanted to stay in the heart of it all and this Riad gave us just that! Before our trip we had great communication with Youssef who sent someone to pick us up from the airport for just £10 which would've been a lot more had we done it ourselves. The young man working there met us at the end of the road and showed us to our room and gave us mint tea on arrival. He was incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was included from 8am - 10am however when leaving we had an early flight, he had arranged for us to take breakfast with us which was an incredibly kind gesture. Lovely place to stay in Marrakech. Close to the city centre but in a quiet street (you do have to watch out for drunk people at night but pretty much the same in all of Marrakech), we also got told that it wasn't the safest area but it didn't feel dangerous tbh, there's a small shop down the street and some places nearby in which you can get a sim card. Also there's a police station right next to it, just in case. The rooms are clean and quite big, the breakfast is delicious and the ladies who prepare it are lovely. I read a lot of review describing the Riad as clean, now I don’t know if our standards are too high but it was not clean at all, the first night the room smelled really bad from the bathroom and ten sheets were full of body hair, The next morning we changed room with another couple, they changed the sheets with “clean” one but again they were full of body hair; Moreover the floor was clearly cleaned rapidly and not well in the room and in the bathroom.
