We recently stayed at the Riad Kaiss for 7 nights. It was the perfect place to get the full Moroccan experience. The setting is welcoming and a perfect retreat in a very busy city. The main square is a short walk, and the museums are an easy cab ride. I cannot say enough about the entire staff at the Riad. From the first contact they were extremely helpful and informative. The staff all worked together like a happy family. No request was too much to ask. They booked our excursions, restaurant reservations and answered countless questions, always with a smile. The accommodations were authentic and very clean. Breakfast was served daily. It was too much and we kept asking them to bring less food as we just wanted something light. But they would insist and bring the traditional Moroccan breakfast which we quickly got accustomed to. We got massages and also visited the onsite hamman - I highly recommend doing. We had the most contact with Houdaifa and his female counterpart whose name I cannot recall. They truly helped to make our stay extremely memorable. Our breakfast waiter “Abdoul" could not have been any nicer. A handsome and distinguished gentleman that seemed to really enjoy his job and meet new people. I wish I had taken everyone name as the entire crew was phenomenal.

This riad had been a great discovery in our second time visiting Marrakech. Riad Kaiss is very well located, around 5 minutes walking from the Jamaa el Fna square, which is a must see spot for any visit. The riad is clean, patios are beautiful and fresh with a lot of vegetation (and 3 big turtles that walk around freely), the rooms are very nice, clean and decorated with great taste, giving you the feeling of luxury, finding rose petals and fresh fruit every morning. The pool is a bit small, but more than enough for refreshing after walking outside. Breakfast is nice, although they could add more variety (or some fruit). The staff is really nice and attentive, we mostly talked with Yolanda (hotel manager) and Mohammed (in reception), but everyone else was equally helpful. The riad can only be accessed by foot, but the place Mellah is less than 5 mins walking and you can get your transport (transfer, public taxi, horse chariot...) there to any direction or excursion. If/when we return to Marrakech, this riad will most likely be our first choice.

I had the most amazing stay at Riad Kaiss. I’m an interior architect and travel a lot to see beautiful places and like to stay at boutique hotels, but this hotel was probably the nicest I’ve stayed at, absolutely beautiful. Not only that but the staff were so extremely friendly and making sure at all times we had bottled water, tea, coffee, fresh juice, fruit and pastries. We only stayed there for two nights but our stay was so special I was sad to leave. I visited with my brother but hope to go back with my husband and stay for longer. Considering the service, the experience, the amazing breakfast it’s actually a really great value for money! Oh they also gave us a gift on our departure and sandwiches for the way and a local mobile phone whilst we stayed there to have access to maps or call the hotel if we got lost. I’m 5 months pregnant and visiting from the US, they completely took care of us.

We had a great stay at Riad Kaiss. We booked a suite to have our own outside space which was lovely with sun loungers and a cabana for shade. It was slightly overlooked from the roof terrace in some parts but also had areas not overlooked. Also metal outside furniture did get hot in 45 degree sun. The Riad is very well located to the south of the Medena a 5 or 6 minute walk from Place Mellah where we were dropped off by our transfer. On our arrival we were met by GiGi and invited to the inner courtyard for traditional Moroccan tea and snacks, a lovely setting among trees with cheeping birds. After this GIGI spend time with us going through local information such as places to go, good restaurants and some very good tips for our stay such as how much to expect to pay for taxis and best times to visit the main square and souks, she also gave us a local map. A tip envelope for the end of our stay was given to us. There was absolutely no pressure to give any tip but it was explained that if we felt we would like to leave something any tips would be shared equally between all the staff. This was a fantastic idea as there were staff who we would see less often (or not at all) but who would have contributed to our great experience. It also took away any awkwardness we might feel about when and where to tip.|The Riad is really nice and I would recommend it as a place to stay but the thing that really stood out were the wonderful staff who were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. A special mention also has to go to Nawol who was often on reception. She always had a lovely smile and greeting and showed a genuine interest in us, how we were enjoying our stay and would often ask us how our trips or meals had been. Service was exceptional, we even received a call to our room on the morning of a very early excursion we had booked, not through the Riad, but had mentioned we were doing. This was to check that we were up if we needed anything.|Note to the management and owner. You Riad is lovely but the true strength is your staff, too many to mention individually but all of them were great. Always helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble and remembering any needs we had. We had asked for ice in our room a couple of times to cool our drinks, after this Ice buckets were offered to us if we were in reception with a smile and a...

Exceeded all expectations, and absolutely made our stay in Marrakech. We cannot wait to go back.||As someone that had not visited Morocco before i was unsure what to expect, and a little apprehensive about how the communication would be due to not speaking French or Arabic. Well, the communication from Riad Kaiss from the start was impeccable, from help with transfers, bags and arranging a birthday treat! |The transfer from the airport was around £22 euros, and was put on our riad account to pay at check out. The transfer driver was a little hard to find as there are SO many transfer signs at the airport, but the car was great and the drive was safe. We were also greeted by a young gentleman employee by the riad on arrival to the drop off point that gave us a friendly welcome and carried our luggage to the riad (only a couple of minutes walk). This was the first experience into the medina and certainly made us look forward to the rest of the holiday.||We arrived early in the morning (before check in) but was greeted by a friendly and professional team that took care of our luggage. Moments later we were shown to the courtyard and greeted with traditional mint tea, biscuits, milk and dates....and were told our home is now yours too. It was beautiful and really set the tone. The team at the riad gave us maps, a tour of the full riad and made some fantastic recommendations....before letting us check in early!||The staff from housekeepers, gardeners, reception and front of house were attentive, helpful and friendly. They even walked us to the taxis and helped us to set a price! Yolanda the manageress really know how to run a business, and what is important to guests.||About the riad - the rooms were kept beautifully, bed was comfortable, all public areas were clean and decorated in a traditional way, the Wi-Fi was good and included in the price, and the overall riad felt quiet...even though fully booked!||This riad was the perfect way to relax in the mornings and afternoons after time in the busy and loud markets. It was a real pleasure to spend time here.||I cannot thank the whole team at Riad Kaiss enough, they made our stay...
