Hotel Kamal — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

It may be situated at a prime location but the Shops here close by 1930. I stayed in the room facing the main road, unfortunately vehicles were making noise throughout the night.||There were two layer of windows but still the cold wave was flowing in.The ed was neat & clean. They probably have central water heating system for the Shower , so I could never get water at the right temperature||The staff is courteous and the they have good range of Starters/ Main Course & Bar.||The Hotel is situated right opposite to "Krishna Pao Roti" , which is probably the first bakery of Kathmandu established in 1940s. We stayed here as a group of 3 from Australia, in between going trekking and other adventures in Nepal. The location was convenient to the airport and easy to get taxis/rides from, thamel was also in walking distance (but not close). We found the service to be fantastic. The owner and his staff went out of their way to help us whether it be with laundry, ordering transport, looking after a bag for us while trekking. Staying at Hotel Kamal has always been a delightful experience for me. Despite facing some challenges during the pandemic, they have truly transformed for the better.
