Monkey Temple Homestay — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We r from Russia and this year we spent one week in this very hospitable house... I want to say that l felt like lwas in my own house with my family... The most important thing was my relationship with owners... In 1hour l felt like they r my family. They helped me with everything... Bought tickets for traveling and did everything what l needed. The room was very nice. Cozy and clean. And l adore drinking coffee in the air next to my room. Owner helped us with mobile sim cards and showed very nice restaurants ... And one more. I want to say that the house has very good location. We were very close to Swoyambhu temple and market for tourists... lt was very nice to walk around.... And the bus stop to everywhere is also near...So , l would recommend this house for everyone who travels in Nepal and likes warm and kind people and good and...

This place is fantastic! Santu, my gracious host made me feel like a daughter, she was so nice. The stars aren't necessarily for the amenities, the shower was hit and miss warm on my floor so I would have to use the upper level shower which needed a lesson to learn to use. The place is coooold, but most homestays and homes in general in Nepal leave doors and windows open, so it is typical. My room had a basic bed and a hat stand. basically the place isn't brimming with comfort in a physical level, but spiritually and emotionally the place felt like home. The beautiful Boxer doggo Adam was hilarious and such a beautiful friend. Stay here, it's cheap and fun.

As the name suggests, staying at Monkey Temple Homestay was a very nice home stay experience. Also I was lucky to be there during the on-going Diwali festival. The family was very friendly, treating us guests as if were all family members! They even invited us to join and participate in the festival activities.||||I liked my large and cozy room with two double beds for all by myself. Make sure you take your own toilet paper along with your toilet kit!||||I recommend Monkey Temple Homestay for a low budget...
