This hotel is absolutely a spot on. ||||It is on the hill (but off the main road so no need for long walking, two minutes really) so you get exceptional views of the Fewa tal from the room (we stayed in no.201, highly recommended), but the view from the upper terrace is also magical. Go up there early morning when the clouds from the mountains come down low and the crows will be your companions :):). A fantastic spot for morning yoga too. ||||The room was beautifully clean, simple but with everything you needed. Fan, storage space, comfortable beds, mirrors. Balcony shared with one more room but never a problem. Bathroom with always hot water available. Clean towels. ||||The family which runs the hotel is just amazing. They give you your space but simultaneously are there always when you need them. ||You can always get hot drink or breakfast if you ask them in advance too. ||||Behind the hotel there is woods, forest with a small Buddhist monastery. It is definitely worth going there. Beautifully shanti place where you can join for yoga class (650 NRP per person) or a sound healing class (donation based). Or you can just go there, sit with buddha and meditate. ||||I will definitely be coming back to this hotel if I am again in Pokhara. It is exceptional place in my opinion. Quite, gives you space, beautiful views, comfy stay and always supportive and helpful people at the reception. And a very good price too!...

You have your space, your peace here. But also interaction with the family who is running this place if you want. They are always totally ready to advice on the surrounding areas to explore, bus service, other services around (ask for Raj, he is a local tour guide, a family member of the hotel owners, taking people for long or short trekking or a day trip to surrounding villages on his scooter).
This place has so much more to offer than just a room to rest in. It is my second time staying here. I have stayed 17 days now and i...
Read moreWe forgot a very valuable sweater in our room at checkout. When we realised it and came back two days later we were told that the cleaning lady had thrown it in the trash and that it was just emptied.
What kind of hotel throws items lost by customers immediatly in the trash? In a poor country like nepal it is highly unlikley that someone throws something expensive in the trash?
After we stated our concerns the owners became aggressive and said that if they want to rob us they could to anytime. Not much was missing to physical fight. This was the only time in Nepal we ever felt in real danger.
Besides the incident, the place is below pokhara average. You find better value...
