The attention to detail at The Lake Front Hotel is fabulous. We couldn’t be more delighted with this magical and incredible find. I have a young family and we were in search of a great swimming pool and also a wide selection of food at a restaurant in Pokhara. Through ‘word of mouth’ we came here to the lakefront hotel, and frankly, we could not ask for more. We got both!

The entire complex here is so attractive to the eye and it’s such an inspiring setting to be a part of and spend days with your family (or couple or single person) The Swimming pool has an adjoining young persons pool. I was absolutely impressed with the life jackets my children could use ( which I couldn’t find in any other Pokhara swimming pool). This made it one of the best factors. It’s not too deep either.. but deep enough for a comfortable swim. The bar you can sit at whilst swimming.. plus ordering from the menu.. is fab! But it’s the whole atmosphere… the live music that you hear whilst eating or swimming, the selection of lightings that contribute to the uplifting environment with the different style of seating areas. Even though you are under cover, it feels like outdoor eating. There is light throughout. The high ceilings are beautiful and the combination of glass, wood, metal, slate, stone and brick give the whole complex a modern european feel. The lake itself is only meters away, and this is another fantastic perk.

Where ever you are sat, there is a gorgeous feel that makes you feel ‘happy’! My children and I loved sitting and painting the views and playing cards. The menu is definitely the other reason that we spend time here. There is a wide range of meals on offer… European, Chinese, Indian, Nepali. Something for everyone. The quality of the food is absolutely fantastic. Plus, the cost compares fairly to other restaurants in Pokhara. It’s very reasonably priced which is another great factor.

I haven’t mentioned staff yet. Of course, a great place needs great management and Krishna is an absolute superb manager who is very approachable, very focused on ensuring the hotel runs at its best. There is communication throughout the team everyday.. and this certainly raises the standards. Staff are friendly and professional. He has a awesome team of waiters, reception staff who are all so professional. The kitchen chefs are so talented and whatever you choose from the menu, it’s brought to you at its best. This to me is another reason I love it here. The cleaners and maintenance team are great behind the scenes. The moment it rains, staff take care of the premises and this is always clearly seen. The environment is spotless. We are so happy to have found this beauty of a restaurant and swimming pool. It’s definitely on the top of our list for spending time and enjoying ourselves next time we return for sure. It’s so comfortable. Certainly book a stay - it’s a wonderful place for making...

My stay at the Hotel Majestic Front Lake in Pokhara was simply exceptional. I spent 6 nights and 7 days there with my wife and son, and every moment was a memorable experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, who were extremely professional and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering a breathtaking view of Phewa Lake, adding a touch of serenity and beauty to each morning and evening.

Rooms and Comfort

The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. We had a magnificent view of the lake from our balcony, which was a real pleasure. The beds were comfortable, ensuring restful nights after our days of exploration. The rooms are also air-conditioned, which is really appreciated, especially during hot days. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped.

Pool and Sauna

We particularly enjoyed the hotel’s pool. It is large, clean, and well-maintained, offering a perfect place to relax and refresh. My son loved spending time in the water, and we all enjoyed the comfortable loungers around the pool. The sauna was also a real asset.

Breakfast and The Grounds Restaurant

The breakfast at the hotel was varied and plentiful, with a wide selection of dishes to satisfy all tastes. Fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and international options were available every morning. It was an excellent way to start the day.

The Grounds restaurant deserves a special mention. The quality of the food was exceptional, with tasty and well-presented dishes. We particularly enjoyed the local specialties as well as the international options. The restaurant staff were attentive and courteous, making each meal enjoyable. The restaurant’s ambiance, with its view of the lake, added a magical touch to our dinners. Additionally, they offer an excellent selection of draft IPA beers, which was a real treat for beer lovers like me.

Service and Hospitality

The service at the Hotel Majestic Front Lake was impeccable. Every staff member, from the receptionists to the waiters, to the housekeeping staff, was friendly and ready to help. Their attention to detail and willingness to make our stay as pleasant as possible really made a difference.

Activities and Environment

The hotel is ideally located to explore Pokhara and its surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hikes in the surrounding hills, especially the visit to the World Peace Pagoda, which offers a spectacular view of the city and the lake.

Conclusion

In summary, our stay at the Hotel Majestic Front Lake in Pokhara was an unforgettable experience. The magnificent location, quality facilities, delicious food, and, above all, the exceptional service made our vacation special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Pokhara. We hope to...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Majestic Lake View in Pokhara, Nepal, and it turned out to be a unique and refreshing experience. Unlike typical hotel buildings, this property feels more like an open resort. The hotel is spread across a large open ground and features four separate buildings, each housing approximately 20 rooms. This layout offers a lot of privacy and open space, making the environment peaceful and relaxed.

Between the buildings, there's a beautifully maintained small park with swings, hammocks, and hanging chairs—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. One of the highlights is the swimming pool, which is clean and well-maintained. It has a depth of 5 feet on one side and 3 feet on the other, making it suitable for both adults and beginners. There’s even a shallow section for children, which is a thoughtful addition for families.

The hotel also features an open-air restaurant, where guests can enjoy meals under the sky while listening to live music performances. It creates a very lively and enjoyable atmosphere, especially during the evenings. The restaurant is connected to the swimming pool, so you can dine while enjoying the view and vibe of the poolside.

In terms of rooms, they are spacious and well-furnished. However, the bathrooms could use some improvement—especially with the flush systems, which were not always functional. Aside from that, the cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch, and daily housekeeping ensures everything is tidy and fresh.

One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. The front side of the hotel opens directly to the main road (Mal Road), giving easy access to shops, restaurants, and the local market. On the back side, it connects directly to the lake, offering stunning lake views and a peaceful ambiance.

When it comes to food, breakfast is a real highlight. The hotel offers a wide variety of options including traditional Nepali dishes, goat meat items, vegetarian curries, breads, fresh fruits, juices, tea, and coffee—there’s something for everyone.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Majestic Lake View is a great choice for families, couples, and even solo travelers looking for a peaceful yet lively place to stay in Pokhara. With its open design, lake access, vibrant restaurant, and friendly service, it stands out from many other hotels in the area. A few improvements in bathroom maintenance would take it even...

The Hotel is next to Disneyland so it's loud, extremely loud, until wee hours. But that is not the main reason why I am giving this hotel a 1 star. I booked a room for over a week with their sales dept in KTM during New Years. They confirmed the price, I got the top floor lake view room and when I went there I did get the room and it was all good. The heater wasn't working, hot water was on and off but no big issue. After a day or 2, they nagged me every single day and tried to move me to a smaller cheaper room and found an excuse or another asking me to move. It was extremely frustrating. Even when I told them I will not move, they kept bothering me. They even went to say that the room I got was not the room I was supposed to get (even though that was the room confirmed, and I am already there) Since it was busy time they were trying to sell it for more expensive price to other guests I am guessing. I was gonna have 1 extra guest after few days and the price was confirmed for 1k additional but the hotel asked me to pay 2k more. Luckily I had the text conversation saved so ended up paying what was initially discussed. The Housekeeping staff are extremely nice, and the ladies working at the reception are also nice but I think they were put on a very difficult situation with the guests constantly by their managers. The guy who works at the Travel desk was rude, unprofessional and extremely annoying. They even went inside my room when I was not there without letting me know, when I had asked them for not to. I stayed in 5 different hotels all around Nepal this time around, and this was the worst experience. The unprofessionalism, the unethical behavior and overall the standard of the hotel will not let me recommend this place to anyone. I will be really surprised if this business will be running by the same management for too long. Restaurant was a mess, but that's just a whole different story I don't want to get into. Overall it's a 0 star from me. Looks like most of the 5 stars is coming from the restaurant

Had a recent stay at this lovely hotel. We were a group of 12 people. Rooms: Pros: A very modern and spacious room with a balcony. Room service are great. Wifi, AC are available. Mini bar inside room. Price was very reasonable. Staff: The receiption was very professional. A more welcoming approach would be nice. By asking about the customers day, their trip any additional help required. Cons: Lift would be ideal for customers with higher level rooms. Restaurant: There is an inhouse restaurant that serves buffet breakfast, with live omelete station. They also do serve hot and cold food throughout. Buffalo wings were very nice. They gave me a lovely free brownie as a birthday gift which was a lovely touch. Extra Facilities: Swimming Pool was available throughout which was clean. Massage and Spa facilities are available, they gave us a 10% discount. But make sure you ask the massager politely of how much experience they have and how much effort you expect. Laundry: There was an in house, one day laundry service, which was very confident. There is a Car parking area infront including EV charging station. They also provided any vehicle which we required in a reasonable price for hire. A free drop off to the Airport would have been very nice. Location: An ideal place in lakeside however, there is a small disneland sort of fair happening everyday which made some noises. Summary. A lovely modernised hotel with plenty of facility with a reasonable price. Recommended for friends, families, couples.
