The restaurant had a nice ambiance, but that’s where the positives end. Our experience was incredibly disappointing, especially because we were exhausted and extremely hungry after just returning from the ABC trek. All we wanted was a warm, welcoming meal, but what we got was far from it.
The waitress was unresponsive and seemed uninterested in helping us. After taking our order, she hurriedly left our table and spent an excessive amount of time attending to other guests (Indian guests, to be specific), completely ignoring us. When our food finally arrived, we weren’t even provided cutlery. We tried to get her attention, but she was too busy taking photos of other guests and didn’t bother to assist us.
To make matters worse, the food was cold and clearly had been sitting out for a while. Frustrated and hungry, we were about to leave when another waiter finally stepped in. He apologized for the poor service and tried to make things right by serving us properly. While his effort was appreciated, it was too little, too late.
The lack of professionalism and attention from the staff completely ruined our meal. It’s unacceptable to be ignored and treated as an afterthought, especially when you’re paying for a dining experience. After a long and tiring trek, we deserved better. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they drastically improve...
Read moreFrom the moment we stepped into Openhouse, we were welcomed by a warm and lively atmosphere—but what truly made our dining experience exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Kushal, our waiter for the evening.
Kushal was, without a doubt, one of the most attentive and genuinely friendly servers we’ve ever encountered. Right from the start, he greeted us with a bright smile and an energy that made us feel instantly comfortable. His attention to detail was remarkable—he made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask.
What stood out most was how he made every guest around him feel special. We could see he treated everyone with the same warmth and attentiveness, making sure every table was cared for as if it were the only one. It’s clear that Kushal truly loves what he does, and it reflects in every interaction.
Thanks to him, our dinner at Openhouse felt more like being hosted by a friend than simply dining at a restaurant. The food was fantastic, but the service made it unforgettable.
To the management of Openhouse: You have a true gem on your team. Kushal embodies the kind of service that turns first-time guests into loyal regulars.
We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for...
