Bad experience..

At first Devi seemed a very nice guy offering the right guide for our 14-day Manaslu trekking. We asked to make it 16days in case of illness or bad weather conditions. We paid the 16days in advance, including the daily cost of the guide, 16days of permit etc.. This was not a package arrangment with all inclusief at a fixen price! After 15days returning with a beautiful experience to his office, we tried to understand if we could get back one day of guiding, because initially he wantend to set it on 14days. In a very arrogant manner Devi explained that i made a mistake asking for 2days extra when we met first time, and that he made a mistake not informing us that we would loose the money if we would come back earlier (imagine if you get sick after 3days-you loose 11days of guiding in his thinking). Off course, we didn’t see any money back though both ‘learned the same lesson’.

We tried to contact our guide but Devi already sent him on a next trek, that was the second time we tried to see our guide again and that Devi arranged this not to happen.

We won’t make any good publicity for his office because we feel a big dishonesty and manipulative profiting from his guides!!!! There are far better agencies around! A pity because we had many friends who are coming over to do long trekkings! A pity that again money shows the real...

I went with a group of six people and a female guide to do the Manaslu circuit trek organized by Nepal Academy Treks and Expedition. We were helped swiftly and warmheartedly when we gave our request and could start only two days later.

I was unfortunately only able to complete three days of the trek as I got acutely sick. In that situation my guide and in turn the owner of the agency, who she put me in touch with, proved to be incredibly helpful in organizing a helicopter to come pick me up in a matter of a few hours, sorting out all the paperwork with the insurance and getting the entrance permit to the protected area, even though this was a saturday when public offices are closed. After landing I was immedately taken to a hospital, all without me having to worry about it.

I can strongly and honestly...

I feel so lucky to have stumbled across Devi’s agency! I did the Mardi Himal trek and not only did Devi give me the best value/price of several companies I spoke to, but made me feel by far the most comfortable and taken care of. I also brought my friends to Devi for other arrangements in Pokhara, and they loved him too. He is honest, knowledgable, and incredibly kind.

And the guide that took me on my Mardi trek, Samir, was just as incredible. This trek ended up being quite difficult for me (for different reasons), but Samir’s endless motivation and patience is what got me to the end. He also managed every detail seamlessly — even making sure I always had enough water. I don’t have enough words to express how grateful I was for Samir. धन्यवाद 💛
