Lorenzo Motor Lodge — Hotel in Christchurch

Unfortunatly the jets in the spa did not work. The owner kindly sent a plumber to look at it,however the pump was stuffed and would not be fixed during our stay. The plumber also found another leak and so he turned up again to fix this leak the next day,nfortunately they were in my room the 2nd and 3rd day of my stay for a total of 3hrs and I had to shower in another hotel room. No compensation was given,no offer to switch to a different room was given either and when we asked for some form of compensation we were advised that our room is already discounted.Unfortnately on the owners website the room is cheaper and also on booking.com the price has gone down so there response was a load of rubbish. It was not nice to have plumbers in my room while I was supposed to be relaxing and I should have just...

I stayed 2 nights in New Zealand with my friends. The location of this motel is perfect. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, about a 10-minute walk from the Riccarton shopping centre, and bus stops are nearby, including a bus stop to the airport. Next door is Hagley Park. The motel was clean and comfortable, and the service was good. The owner was very warm and friendly and showed us the surrounding places and recommended good restaurants. Will stay again, and has already recommended this...

I think the best thing about this place is the proximity to parks, shopping malls including a lot of restaurants. Since I didn't come by car, there is also a bus stop nearby with routes that include buses in many different directions, which made it much easier to get around. I'm glad I came in the spring, the flowers in the garden in front of the entrance were all in beautiful bloom and it was a pleasant experience.
