Grand Riccarton Hotel — Hotel in Christchurch

My husband & I chose The Grand Riccarton to stay as we had a trailer and a dog. There's plenty of parking to move around with a trailer away from the busy Riccarton road. The Dog sleeps in the truck and we wanted a downstairs room beside truck & trailer. We rang the Hotel originally spoke with a lady very helpful. Very reasonable priced for this time of year ( Winter). They sent all confirmation in our email. When we arrived we spoke with a Happy, helpful man( Rubel), he took us to our room showed us around. The room was very warm, Clean, Fresh. very newly decorated. Great comfy bed & pillows. The fridge was stocked with milk, there is Tea & Coffee facilities including a Jug. Hairdryer, Towels, shampoo, soap etc.. Shower small but very good. He told us about ordering Eve meals & breakfast. We were meeting up with family that night so was unable to try out there food but did read the menu and look reasonably price and defiantly a good choice all round. The staff were friendly & went out their way to make our experience enjoyable. Defiantly will be back and hopefully stay a little longer.

We keep coming back and always receive a warm, welcoming greeting from Rubal when we arrive & get escorted to our room to make sure we are happy :)|Rubal & Puja go above & beyond to ensure our stay is enjoyable and all our needs are met.|The bed is new & comfortable and the views from the top story room look out to the port hills. The room has everything we need & is warm, comfortable & modern with the recent renovations at the Hotel. |Unlimited wifi is a bonus too.|Great Location near all the Riccarton restaurants and shops and only a small walk to Hagley Park & the botanical gardens. Also, very close to the CBD.|All in all the Grand Riccarton Hotel is exceptionally great value for money, as it's very reasonably priced compared to other local motels.|We look forward to coming back again soon and checking out the restaurant & Bar that is opening the end of April 2025 ..we felt lucky to be able to order from the menu this trip & get the meal bought up to our room ~ Thanks again Rubal ;)|It's an AAA++++++++ from us ..and we're excited to...
