We loved our little one bedroom with an open fireplace! Kids were cozy in the lounge and I had a comfy bed to myself. Lots of windows to open if you want and despite no expansive view, from the bed I could look up and see a snow-clad mountain. Kitchen had all the basics but no oven. Bathroom is very compact with squeaky sliding doors but the water pressure was excellent! We could hear a bit of noise from neighbours and the odd bit of cigarette smoke drifting in but it was no big deal. Only 10 mins nice walk to town and a few minutes up the street to lovely forest walks. It's a cheap stay and nothing is fancy but it was all we needed. Stacey on reception was awesome. Firstly the owner operator is very very lovely and the room was very comfortable and tidy.|There was only a couple of things that I feel need to be faulted. The main one was the drains that didn't drain out, had to turn off the shower to allow the base to drain so that water wouldn't go all over the floor, and then finished my shower off.|None of the drains we're working properly.|The second is while I know the salt and pepper were complementary, the pepper shaker had no pepper in it, and the pepper shaker looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time.|We did enjoy our stay and do plan on returning as it was quiet and...
