Not worthy to go if you want to see kiwi ||I had a 3 days train tour from Auckland to Wellington and the very last day before heading to wellington I was arranged a Kiwi tour with no guide and no transportation - I was dropped at a tourist centre where I was given a local street map that I was supposed to WALK to the kiwi house The map looks simple but when I was at a junction there were 3 roads in front of me where a KIWI house sign didnt give direction I tried one of on the left but not going uphill which was correct but after 5 mins walk there was no more sign and nothing seems like a farm site .... finally I stopped and asked for help from a local driver in a passing by car and the lady driver was so nice to offer a drive to the place which was more much far away from the map shown (12mins from tour centre) ||I was given a zoo map with 22 spots to visit but you cant find number on each site and you dont know where you are with no one to ask no sign to follow ||Worst part was they said there are 2 kiwi birds in the glass house in the dark zone and the dark zone was really dark that you cant even find your way to walk you can only use your hands to feel what is in front of you and find no way to get out - that was really dangerous to senior people or children ||Staff said I should spend one hour in the zoo but I have to run and nothing special to see the zoo was old and small no managment at all - tourists should aware there is no signal in the zoo and the parking lot so you cant call cant arrange Uber or anything to do Only way is to walk away from the site I had to rush for the train and felt really frustrated with no help and no choice that I have to walk to the train station ..... it was a...

Home made breakfast, complete and filled with lovely details! But the best of our stay was Tracy, the Kiwi House host. She made us feel like home with her kindness and gave us great advice on where to go. Always ready to assist us with every issue and still we had a lot of privacy. I would most definitely stay there again and I recommend it to anyone that's going to...

From Kiwi House you can walk up to Mudbricks vineyards, Oneroa village for some shopping and restaurants. It is quiet an cozy and the breakfast is superb. Real food for real people. And this all happens in the living room area where you literally feel at home. We only stayed one night but for a next time I would certainly...
