Oneroa Bay Villas — Hotel in Waiheke

This is a lovely apartment with beautiful comfy sofa and bed. great sunshine. BUT its located almost level with a main road and its so so noisey. There are 14 louver windows at the front and these do not shut any noise out. The vehicles quieten down about 10.30pm, but start up again around 5.30am. During the day it is constant traffic just metres from the balcony and room.||||Its unfortunate as it would otherwise be wonderful. But its not a relaxing stay with the constant noise which you just cant drown out. The local siren went off in the night, a car alarm went off for about 20 minutes and the external steps and corridor was also loud when other residents were coming and going. Then the tiddly girls screeching and laughing at all hours. ||||Loved the apartment, but Im not use to big city...

The apartment was great though I would say, it is close to the main road. Great location and well appointed. ||We went at short notice but if your organized enough to take my money you should be organized to have the bed made and room sorted.||We stayed for a couple of nights and right on 10am at checkout we got an abrupt knock on the door from house keeping. We staied at the Unit 7 for 2 nights. The unit is clean and modern, the size is good for a couple. Very comfortable and cozy space. Close to all shops in Oneroa and 3 minutes walk to the fabulous beach. The downside is that it faces over the main road therefore it could be noisy during the day.
